Hard to open cooling feature. Found putting on table or flat rock and pressing down on bag to break inner bag worked better than trying to twist package.The cooling lasted about 20 min in 105 degree heat on camping trip.

Very nice package and easy to activate. I placed it on the counter top and punched the bag. The inner bag popped and immediately it was very cold. Great to have when you need them. I picked up the 6x9 for larger cooling area.

Perfect for the sports mom/dad. Great value and stays cold long enough. I only deducted a star because when I received them several were busted open and it was a mess .

Love this product. Very handy for my Basketball on sight gym coordination . Helps along with standard first aid.

Spouse used these while she was in physical therapy for an injury. She is very happy with this product. Highly recommended.

I purchased these ice packs for a trip to Rome in the event I develop one of my excruciating back spasms. As European establishments rarely have ice, I figured these would be a great option.I tried one to see how it worked and to my great disappointment, it only delivered a mere 5 minutes of cold before they begin to cool down rapidly. I figured they would at least last 10 minutes, but no.While the description said the pack was 4x6, the cold area is just 5x3, so smaller than thought.I contacted McKesson and they won’t help because it was purchased from a third party. I called Amazon, but they were unable to get any resolution with the seller either. Amazon is willing to go further with helping me, but it would take a lot of time, so I decided it wasn’t worth the effort. Amazon did say, however, that they have had numerous complaints about this product and might do something to note that in the description.Kudos to Amazon for going to bat for me.Don’t buy if you need more than 5 minutes for acute pain.

Great to have around in emergencyI suffer from migraines and sometimes I HAVE to have an ice pack on my head and back of neck. These are great because I sometimes find myself with all my ice packs not frozen! Also I don’t have to have a frozen cold pack around if traveling- these obviously are break and chill for use. Will buy more when I use these up.

I’d recommend these for more minor aches, burns, bug bites - little kids. They don’t get as cold as others that I’ve tried and they don’t really stay cold for more than 20 minutes. I need them for extreme knee pain , and they just were cold enough! Easy to pop and would be good to carry around in your car for minor first aid kits etc.
