Be i’m trying to use this as a second monitor to the new mac mini 2020 with m1 chip via the macs hdmi port. anyone know what cable i will need?

Hello I have a 16" MacBook Pro with 4 usb-c/thunderbolt ports. The Monitor comes with an thunderbolt double male cable. I've using this cable to connect thunderbolt to thunderbolt. It works great and the thunderbolt also powers the MacBook. This plus the monitor has 2 thunderbolt and 3 usb-c ports means it basically acts like a dock. I have used the monitor to daisy-chain a second monitor.

where is the power switch?

There isn't one. The monitor is supposed to come on automatically when plugged into the computer. But it has to be the right computer. As in only specific Apple products. I missed that memo and had to return it.

Can i use this monitor as a tv in my kitchen connected with an hdmi cable to a 4k tv???

No. There are no HDMI ports with this.

If I am using this monitor as a tv, signal from a samsung tv in the den, how do I switch between hdmi 1 and hdmi 2 without a computer???
