Bips and Roses: Zoey and Sassafras #8

I love that these books perk the imagination and apply practical science for a young age. My three daughters loved them! My oldest (age 5) started sharing her own hypothesis in everyday life scenarios after reading these. I think these will be one she reads on her own within the next year or two as she becomes more a more fluent reader. I felt they were well written and enjoyed reading them at bedtime to my girls. We have read them all and hope more will be released. These are our favorite! We loved reading these books more than the popular Critter club and Magic Tree House books, although these are favorites as well.

Zoey and Sassafras is a great series for first grade read alouds. Fun stories to get kids excited about chapter books.

I gave my niece the first series of these books, as well as a bunch more books. When I asked her which books she liked best, these were the ones she choose. She is 10 and new to the US. She said they were entertaining and simply fun to read.

My daughter just loves this series. Great book.

We love Zoey and sassafras! My 7 year old loves the characters. I love that he’s learning about scientific process and experimentation when he reads. Win win. Wonderful books!

My daughter’s first chapter books. I started reading them for her when she was 4 and she loved them straight away. It is a great book collection to transition from picture books to chapter books.

Cannot say enough good things about this series of books. They are well written, smart, funny, imaginative and don't use any negative language. My 4 year old cannot get enough of them. We have read the entire series 3 times now. I am going to be hard pressed to find another collection of books as wonderful as these. Highly recommend!

Another brilliant and engaging book in this series. My daughter read it several times through the first week she had it.
