Haven't had any issues with them yet - all the aquatic critters I've shipped in these have arrived at their destination healthy and happy. No leaks
These are kind of small, but since I've only used them to ship small fish (guppies) and snails they are an ok size for me. Haven't had any issues with them yet - all the aquatic critters I've shipped in these have arrived at their destination healthy and happy. No leaks, etc. Would buy again.

These bags are amazing! Kept everyone alive!
I had to travel a few states away, I had little shrimps in these, I put only one critter per bag. And I had one little oto. Everyone made it safe, no issues. They’re all still kickin’. Would buy again!

Not Suitable. Do not buy.
These bags are falsely described and way too small to use. I am extremely upset at this company and nowhere did it describe how small these bags are. I used them to transport a few fish from my saltwater aquarium to my new apartment. One of the fish died mid transport because of how small the bags are and we barely could tie them closed… DO NOT BUY. I thought I was buying the best bags as they described “transportation of fish” they will kill your fish with loss of oxygen.

DEFINITE BUY - For smaller fish
Short summary: I never write reviews, but THESE BAGS ARE PHENOMENAL (for smaller fish) so I had to! I recently moved across the country and wanted to bring my fish with me. I purchased these bags with the hope that my fish (a small-medium goldfish that is the length of my pinky finger) would survive transport through USPS, since I was unable to take it with me on the plane. I carefully added my fish in clean water to the bag with enough room to heat the open edge with an iron and cloth to form a seal (do not attempt alone). Then, I twist-tied and rubber banded the top of the bag and taped a paper towel over the top so that no water would leak (be sure to test it prior to sending). I lined a Priority Mail Express box with aluminum foil, packed in stuffing from an old pillow, and gently placed the fish breather bag inside covering it with more stuffing. I also added a small ice pack (away from the bag itself) to keep it cool during the hot summer days during transport. I sent it Priority Mail EXPRESS which was guaranteed money back if I did not receive my fish on the next day by 6pm... the package ended up being lost in transit and no one knew where it was for 3 days until I finally received it with no notification (ON MY PORCH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOT 105 DEGREE AFTERNOON). I thought there was no way my fish made it through the transit, but to my surprise it was lively and active just like when I put it in the bag! If you have a smaller fish, my fish's size is the max size I would put in the bag alone, PLEASE USE THIS BAG! It really is a game changer!

Very small & two bags sliced up need these bags 1week from today!
Opened bags to look at them. Very small, hard to transport fish in them 2 cannot be used, sliced up too expensive for this kind of problems. MUST have bags 1 week from today!

Worked for a cross country move
These bags allowed us to move with our beloved fish from the west coast to the east coast this year. We had two goldfish that we tried to re-home, but when it got down to the wire and we couldn’t get anyone to take them, we decided to try to keep them and move with them. And they made the journey thanks to these bags! We just put them in the bags the day we left and kept them in a small cooler to help regulate their temperature, which helped them make the, what ended up being, four day trip. They were definitely stressed when we finally got them back into their tank, but were perking up by the following day.

Will likely use again
I used these breather bags to send my three goldfish from PA to CA. All three survived being in the water-filled bags for a little over 24 hours, so the bags must allow for oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange as advertised. To reduce the risk of breakage, I filled the bags so that they felt like partially deflated balloons rather than fully inflated balloons. I also anticipated some leakage and prepared for any broken bags by placing them in large, air-filled Ziploc bags. The bags did leak a little, but did not burst or rip. I don't think the leakage can be blamed, at least entirely, on the bags; UPS is very rough with packages. Overall, I'm glad I chose to use these bags. I was also happy that one-day shipping was an option. If the advertisement had listed the bag dimensions and if square-bottom bags were an option, I would give them 5 stars.

Amazing!
These bags are amazing! I shipped well over 300 guppies using these bags, about 5 to a bag, and every single one survived! I also shipped quite a few shrimp and a few other species of fish without any deaths. That should be no surprise to anyone who commonly ships fish, but still a survival rate of 100% is amazing. Definitely do your research before you go shipping live aquatic animals, but these bags are the way to go. These breather bags are intended to be filled completely, but some species cannot be shipped with the bag entirely full as they require surface access. Do your research. Would highly recommend to anyone shipping live aquatic animals.
