Help Children And Tweens Express Their Feelings - Reduce Anxiety, Anger & Frustration and share their feelings. This creatively designed journal is ideal for both elementary age, up to the early teen years. Your child will be able to think about how they feel each day. This could be a good journal to even use in the School environment - for kids who struggle to talk about and their feelings and emotions. In particular, those with conditions such as: Aspergers, ASC, ADHD, Anxiety disorders, or Depression. Or simply any child who could benefit from reflecting on how they feel and tracking their moods. Each day has two pages to work with. On the first page.... You're asked to identify your key emotion for the day by circling the most relevant emotive face. However, there is also a space for your child to draw their OWN one too, which gives the child the chance to be more creative and specific about how they feel. There's then a space to write down some feelings they've had that day. An additional place to write about anything that has helped them that day. There is a also a place to write down three GOOD things that has happened that day - a chance to think about some positive aspects. On the second page.... There's a space where the Child can write/doodle/stick/draw about any worries they have at the moment. A space to Journal about the day... Whether good or bad. Lastly, the child is prompted to write down three goals or aims for the following day. This can help them to feel more organised and in control. This emotion tracking journal can be used every day, or simply when the child needs it the most, or is having a particularly challenging day. Not only would this make a great gift for a child, to give them the opportunity to track how they feel each day and improve their overall mood and sense of well-being.... This could also make an excellent tool for teachers to have in school, particularly for children who struggle to understand their feelings. Likewise, this could be something that school therapists can use, to encourage their students to communicate their feelings to others and acknowledge their emotions. This emotion tracking diary would be particularly beneficial for children who would benefit from identifying and acknowledging their feelings regularly and understanding their emotional triggers.

Good book I like what it's for, would have been good to have some colour on the pages (I know they can be coloured but.would of been nice for a little colour) and maybe a little less repeating text

Great quality book, my child loves it.

Really simple and easy
Each oafe is the same, and not restricted by dates or years, which means the kids can us either as they desire. It's been great for messy moods.

Love this! It is so useful and has helped with communication!
I love this. My daughter carries it every day to school. She writes in her journal and only shares it with "safe" people, who include her teacher, her therapist, the school counselor, and myself. Since she has been using it, the communication between her school team and her therapist team and myself we are all able to stay on the same page and stay consistent in assisting her with issues that arise. This results in quick and consistent redirection when needed. I must say this has helped her improve so much and she quickly grasps the strategies when she has something written down that she can use as a reference. I highly recommend as a tool for anyone else who is looking for something to supplement in communication and teaching social skills/boundaries to a young person.
