Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0" 16GB (Wi-Fi), Smoky Titanium (Renewed)

I saw this in a store and thought this looks nice. I have 2 Nook tablets but I never really used them much as a tablet, but when I saw this and ordered it, I was immediately impressed when it arrived. This thing is quick and has plenty of space with a Micro SD card slot. To my surprise, it had it's own security software, but also MS Office products and not trial versions. I wonder now why I waited to get this, I am thoroughly enjoying this tablet.

It works just like new and cheap price. I bought it for my mom to use it. Too much money for ipad. Recommended Samsung Galaxy tab A or other Samsung tablets as a gift to you or family members. Is easy to use. I'm very surprised when i open the box. I was very impressed and how they make it brand new. I don't know how they Refurbished but it looked great. Don't buy Apple products because is too much money. Save up money by buying Refurbished Samsung items.

Nice little tablet at a good price. The processor is a bit slow and the home button is a bit stiff. Doesn't quite have the quality feel and graphics of the Tab E 9.7, but I am very happy with it.

I was sort of on the fence about buying this product refurbished. It came packed in a nice white box with a charger and brick. Upon taking the tablet out, I honestly couldn't even tell it was previously used. The unit had no scratches, marring or scarring. As far as he unit goes, I use it for schoolwork, reading, streaming television, and occasional games. This unit has been more than perfect for my everyday needs once paired with a decent sized memory card.

Works great, but will no longer accept software updates.

I'm really happy I bought this tablet. I'd had an 8GB Amazon Fire (7") beforehand and while there was nothing wrong with it, it had started to get laggy and give me low memory warnings. I didn't was to spend a huge amount of money on a replacement so a 'certified refurbished' model was a great value. The tablet was in perfect condition when it arrived with no cosmetic damage that I could see. I've been using it for about the past month and have had no issues whatsoever. The tablet runs quick and smooth and has not suffered from any slowdown since I installed more apps on it (as I've experienced with other tablets). The tablet shipped with some pre-installed apps but these are not an issue for me and a lot of them are very useful and better than the junk that comes pre-loaded on some other tablets I've owned. The camera is nothing special but it's much better than the one on the Amazon and is fine for a quick snap to Tweet or FB. Sound is never going to be great on a tablet, but it's perfectly fine for what I need. Overall I'm glad I made the purchase.

The best: It was well refurbished, well packed, no visible flaws, fast delivered by amazon. So buying refurbished went very well - 5 stars for the seller & amazon. The device: Pros: Screen better as anticipated, but still milky in some viewing angles. Battery life 11-13h which is very good. Decent build and material. Cons: Slow. This one can barely handle games or power hungry apps but it is OK for Netlix, watching videos or reading. Only a 1 amp charger and no fast charging mode so a full charge takes 6+ hrs. Still on Android 5.02, evtl. Marshmallow in summer 2016 Other: if Samsung will cancel the announced Android 6 update than this device is a bad buy.

I bought this tablet in July 2018 and this tablet works great when it stays on but during use no matter what the battery level is the thing keeps shutting off repeatedly works for a few hours then cuts off again. it's not overheated, the battery is usually at or above 60% when it shuts off. EDIT: as of 04-26-2019 this is nothing more than a paperweight! it was on charge all night but it will not turn on I have since tried 4 different chargers tried holding power and volume down buttons and nothing. will not be buying any more Samsung products as I have had no success with them!
