Lil Helper for babies as well as a busy mommy
It worked very well for our twin boy and girl. When they were three months old, the boy was attempting to hold the milk bottle himself although it was too heavy for him to do it. I ran into this product on another merchant's site and thought it'd help the boy to hold the bottle himself. It worked very well for him as the triangle part of the product rests on his chest and he didn't have to hold the weight of the entire bottle himself, so I bought the second one from Amazon for my daughter. Her motor skill was not as developed as my son's but it still worked after I taught her how to use her hands to hold the bottle. With the multiple children, I appreciate any little help like this. This was a "lil Helper" not only for our children, but also for a overworked mommy. Now the twins are 6 months old, and I am using the product to make the milk bottle be a "learner or transitional" sippy cup. They sit in high chairs, hold the bottle and drink milk. One small problem is that you can't really wash the product. I tried, and the water got into the air pocket where the beads are enclosed. As somebody mentioned that the clear plastic came off or broke and beads got out, which could cause a choking hazard, I can see that plastic is not fitted tightly and it could fall off. Also for a hygiene purpose, It'd be perfect if the manufacturer make it dishwasher safe.

Great bottle holder
I am loving this bottle holder. I am a mother of 3, a 4 year old, 2 year old and 7 month old, so needless to say I have my hands full. The times when I'm not able to feed the 7 month old while holding her I am able to use this bottle holder by putting her in her bouncy seat and putting the bottle in this bottle holder, I am able to prop up the bottle with the end part of the holder or she is able to hold onto the holder with her hands while drinking the bottle. We use the Dr Browns regular bottles and they fit perfectly in the holder, I just slide the holder over the top of the bottle till it is about halfway down the bottle. My 7 month old also like to play with the bottle holder without the bottle in it, and likes to put it on her mouth so it makes a great teether as well.I wasn't sure if this bottle holder would work for us or not but I'm glad that I took the chance and ordered it, and it is working out great for us. We both love this bottle holder since she can have her bottle even when I'm busy with her older brother and sister.

Good product--but only for certain bottles
While a lot of people have said this product works well for Dr. Brown's standard bottles, I've found the product slips on these and sometimes our twin girls (at 5 months) are able to loosen the bottle from the grip without trying--simply by shifting position or being an enthusiastic eater. This can change the angle of the bottle, baby to lose their latch, or some leaks. While I can definitely see this would work well with a wider bottle so the grip is tighter, marketing it as-is as a good fit for standard Dr. Brown's (we have the 4 ounce bottles), is a little misleading. While they technically fit, they do not provide the needed stability or hold. That is not to say they wouldn't work without some modification, but as a one-and-done solution to easily help baby hold the bottle or a parent to prop it, it is not a good option for the Dr. Brown bottles.

Great concept, didn't last long...
I am a working mom to three children and so when I found out about this, I was ecstatic. Having an "extra hand" in the mornings has made life a lot easier since now my six month old can both hold her bottle and then entertain herself while I am hustling getting her siblings ready in the morning. I have absolutely loved this- my only complaint is that it has started to break apart already! I have the comotomo bottles and so they have a very wide neck, so I am assuming that having it stretched out has made it break. I just feel.like it should have lasted longer than three weeks...

With this she holds it like a rattle with both hands and I am a ...
Got this for my 4 month old daughter because she is showing interest in trying to hold the bottle herself but doesn't quite have the hand strength. With this she holds it like a rattle with both hands and I am a little amazed at how steady she holds it. Wouldn't work without her being developmentally able to hold something with both hands at a time or hold it steady. But it does what it is supposed to do definitely.

Just okay
Works okay - it was helpful when using the small 4oz bottles so that it would prop the bottle while I held the baby and could use my other hand to eat or use my phone. Not very stable though, I often had to use one finger to hold onto it with the hand that was also holding the baby so that it didn't tip over.

Didn't work for us.
If your baby isn't close to holding a bottle, I'm not so sure this product will help. It did work in propping the bottle up while she was in her car seat for stroller rides. By the time she was using it the way it was intended to be used, she could hold the bottle just as easy.

not satisfied
Although I know it's not safe to prop a bottle, I tend to have to use a blanket to prob it up if I am trying to do something at the time (with me absolutely close by and watching to make sure it doesn't slip or she doesn't choke) and I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, it seemed too good to be true and it doesn't work very well. I tried using it several times and just gave up.
