This was bought for a lockdown isolation friend. Tuning in both Freeview and Freesat was very easy (yes it has integral tuners for both) HD channels are very good as too SD channels. This tv runs via a 12 volt “wall wart” it was this that “exploded” on day 5 of use scaring the living daylights out of my chum. No fire or smoke just a heart stopping explosion. The manufacturers confirmed that they don’t ship from factory in UK with any PSU, that is incumbent on the seller (Amazon) An inquiry is ongoing. The sound is, like most TVs dire. Tinny, irrespective of bass or treble. And in a near formal admittance about such, a leaflet is included for a sound bar for £50 extra ! Just fit it ! There are every connection for signal feeds both digital and analogue NO SCART . Optical TOSlink output. Frankly, apart for the misnomer, this is a telly worth considering (it’s made in the UK!) and being 12v powered is ideal for a touring telly in the caravan or Winnebago! More so if you’re using an external amplifier for the sound ...

We bought this to use with our caravan. We have been using satellite for a caravan for as long as it has been about so are used to it. In places without normal coverage like Snowdonia it is a godsend but no use in a forest where trees block the signal. All the 'Freesat' TV's we have used in the past have tuned to Freesat direcly the tuning menu is found. With this (much more capable tv) you have to select the correct satellite - Astra 2 for Freesat - before searching for channels as well as pointing the dish the correct way. I note that this is capable of having 4 LNB's for four satellites or one with a dish positioner to access all those you wish to so the instructions are a little daunting initially. That said it will find ALL channels and you then have to spend a little time selecting skip for unwanted channels and then another little while putting them in the order you want. All ok once done but a chore nevertheless. Very light in weight. Sound not very good but easy to sort with a soundbase, computer speakers from a car boot of whatever suits you.

Great tv actually bought this for the caravan Freeview and satellite receiver works prefect on it and well worth the money, picture quality is great and sound.

Not a bad TV for the price. Picture quality is pretty decent and it was very easy to set up. The sound quality really lets it down. I can put up with it as a bedroom TV but anything that you’re going to watch movies on or play games on I would definitely invest abit more cash.

Tv was fine but was sent a 24 inch not 42 a replacement was sent and again was a 24 inch. Amazon customer service were brilliant in resolving my matter. They were attentive, and dealt with my issue so quickly with absolutely no fuss. The agent was so caring about my health needs and was very empathetic. I have never experienced such good customer service before! Thank you Amazon!

works well but bit of a hit and miss seeing up dish at caravan need to get a sat finder but picture is perfect and nice and light for travelling.only down side is the speakers they are cheap and nasty and sound tinny

I am hoping to have this set returned, The sound quality is so bad it is impossible to understand and talking on the programmes. Pity as its a fair price for a tv with built in satellite receiver but absolutely a tv only suitable for the stone deaf.
