This watch was a birthday present and my girlfriend was very expressed with it.I want one of my own.

 I love the idea of a watch made of wood and seeing these I was instantly interested in having a chance to own one or more.Normally I prefer a VERY heavy and large watch, this watch is average in size but very lightweight. I knew that it wouldn't be heavy so it isn't a problem but it is lighter than expected.It certainly attracts attention from others so it will be an attention grabber in case you are one that doesn't care to be approached by others.I own other sandalwood (and I believe maple as well) items (combs) and I really like the smell of real wood of different types.This is very comfortable to wear and it keeps time fine.I find it is easy to read and the colors and wood grains are great.I find no faults or issues with the watch but I would like to see documentation on care for the watch and dealing with water. Now I don't intend to shower with the watch but sweat, rain and mainly handwashing which I do very often are of concern. I feel the Amazon page should mention something about this so buyers may make a more informed purchase.I just remove the watch when washing up but it'd be nicer to know if a little water would be fine.Again it's the type watch that gets attention...several people ask about it and several try to talk me into giving them the watch they liked it so well.Review sample provided free or at a discounted price for a fair, unbiased, and honest review.

I received this timepiece free from Ideashop for testing and review.I agreed to review this watch because the wood looked very attractive to me and I can always use a new watch. The watch I received looks just like it does in the listing photo and I have been proudly wearing it for the last week.Here are my thoughts of the watch...01 Simple and Stylish - The watch is simple yet stylish and unique. The strap and body of the watch is just beautiful. It is made from maple wood and reddish sandalwood that contrast nicely. I also like that the light face of the watch compliments the wood, hands and hour markings.02 Keeps Accurate Time - Some watches will run a little fast or slow over time but I haven't experienced that with this watch. I have been wearing this watch for the last week and so far the time has remained accurate.03 Easy To Read - The face is uncluttered and easy to read.04 Comfortable - I have had some watches that were not very comfortable to wear. It may have been the band, or size of the timepiece itself, or a combination of the two factors but the bottom line was they were not a pleasure to wear. The same can't be said about this watch.The wood wrist band on this watch can be adjusted and it fits me just right. It is very comfortable to wear all day.05 Nice Presentation - The watch comes resting on a black pillow inside of a gift box making it a very nice gift for someone. My watch also came with a cleaning cloth.06 Excellent Value - The watch is an excellent value priced at thirty-seven bucks. The watch is unique and much nicer than watches that I have seen at department stores within this same price range. If you are in the market for a watch, I recommend giving this watch a look.
