Wild Republic T-rex Pincher with Sound

I had to return it because it was damaged but the toy itself was exactly what I wanted. I will reorder in the hope it will arrive undamaged next time.

my son enjoyed this and it ended up becoming an annoyance to me with the sound, but i'm happy that he enjoyed it that much

My 3 yr old loves dinosaurs, and he loves this toy.

Bought it for my 3-year old grandson and he loves it. Good quality -- can take a beating. Arrived in time and works as advertised.

My son got one of these in Disney and someone stole it. Or he lost it. Either way, this is exactly like the one he lost and he was thrilled to have it back. Fast chipping and great packaging.

My dinosaur mad little boy bought one of these from the Natural History Museum in London about a year ago and loved it. Had a lot of use and didn't break until one day when daddy (me) unfortunately stepped on it. As usual anything can be found on Amazon so I bought him one of these as a replacement. Pretty much identical to the one he had before except different coloured stick and handle and this one roared whereas his previous one didn't make a noise.Needless to say, he was thrilled with his new "roaring" version (which as parents is not the most satisfying noise to hear over and over again) and after a couple of months of fairly regular use by a 4-year old is still working fine. I can see why this may break easily, it's 100% made of plastic, there are no metal parts to the head and stick so in the hands of an exuberant child (or heavy-footed dad) it's not going to stand up to a lot of abuse but ours is still going strong and we're very pleased with it.Our dinosaur was well packaged for posting and had no signs of damage in transit.

I bought this as a replacement for a previously broken similar toy (the old one didn't make the dinosaur sound). I don't know whether my son is heavy handed (he is only 4) or there is a critical design flaw, but after a couple of weeks the handle has broken much as it did with the previous one and now the jaw flaps around helplessly. The sound from this is also quite loud, and not conducive to a peaceful day, when I had a T-Rex head thrust at me by an over enthusiastic child trying to eat my ears...

Upon opening it up I discovered the head was on unevenly. I noticed it was off one of the hinges. I tried to gently position the head back on but the flippin' hinge just snapped off. What a waste of £10 and such a horrible purchase. Utter rubbish that ended up in the bin where it belonged.

Given that children have a tendency to wildly swing exciting thoughts around (hitting walls in the process) this needs to have a stronger tube and handle. Broken within days, an attempting to disassemble the mechanism so I can make it from something stronger.
