Great idea…could use a little refinement.
After seeing a lot of guys at work using Toughbilt bags, I purchased several styles to try out. Ultimately I settled on this one as it fits most of my needs. Pros: The clip feature is great as far as being able to take them off and on your belt quickly and then using the stand feature to allow you to work out of the pouch without it falling over. Plenty of room in the pouch for almost everything I need Quality of the pouch means it holds up well over time. I’m hard on tool pouches climbing up and down ladders all day in and out of attics and crawl spaces and through wooded areas. The warranty is fantastic. Emailed their support about an issue with the hub part of several bags and had a whole box of new ones at my door in about 2 weeks. Cons: over time the clips wear out, sometimes you get an advance warning as the pin that allows it to pivot open will start to slide out one end. Other times they just snap. Would be nice to see a revised clip and hub design possibly out of a more durable material such as metal. When either of those parts fail, it means picking up all my tools that scatter and there’s a potential to cause damage to a customers property or lose a tool. The dividers in the pouch center don’t go all the way to the bottom and allow objects to work their way down and across the bottom of it at times. Eventually I’ll make some dividers out of something like kydex to solve this issue. The loops on the front and the flashlight holder near them are useless to me as are the pockets on the outside on the other side of the pouch. I don’t carry a large flashlight, though I have used it for a hammer and the tool pouches just don’t fit things the way I’d like leading to tools sliding out the bottom or popping out the top. Overall I’m happy with them for the price and also have purchased 2 different drill holsters and several other bags from them. I have a board in my work truck where several different bags hang for different purposes and it’s nice being able to grab the one I need and go. It’d be great if they let you design a bag from a list of options to be able to add or remove certain features but that’s asking a lot at this price point from a company that mass produces them. I’d be willing to pay more for customization however, and I’m sure others would as well.

Perfect for Relay Techs
I started as a relay testing tech recently and was in need of a small, but capable, tool bag. I bought this pouch for the variety of pouches and especially the clip system. Why it works well for me: The middle main pouch is where my Fluke 1587 lives. It’s a little tight with the probes, but I’m sure it will loosen up a bit over time. The left and right main pouches hold my Klein auto strippers, Greenlee crimpers, and fuse pullers. The two front pockets work perfectly for my lineman pliers and side cutters. The skinny screwdriver loops on the right hold my insulated screwdrivers, and the wider loops hold my 11-in-one screwdriver and flashlight. The skinny pocket at the top of the main compartment holds scissors and flush snips, while the tiny pocket is perfect for a flathead tweaker. I bolted a rubber coated neodymium magnet to the belt clip. This allows me to hang it from equipment cabinet doors, I beams, and even steel entry doors. This is the main reason I opted for this brand. I can then unclip it and clip the bag to the clip I bolted to the inside of my truck topper. What could be better: The adjustable flashlight loop is pointless. I’d much rather have a pocket that size with a closed bottom for pens/highlighters. Additionally, the phone pocket is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. The only use I’ve found is a box cutter, but the pocket is too deep, making it hard to get out. Overall, it’s a great bag. 5/5 would recommend.

Fantastic pouch for electrical tools
I work long 12+ shifts in the entertainment industry (IATSE Local 728 lighting technician) and have come to realize over the years of intermittent standing around waiting while eating craft service and unpredictable crazy fast-paced work out of nowhere that lugging around my already admittedly minimal daily tool kit is, quite often, an unnecessary pain in the (lower) back. What drew me to this pouch was the Cliptech feature, which I was unsure of at first (and am still skeptical as to how long it will last--both the belt clip and the section of the pouch itself which locks onto the clip, made of hard plastic), but so far I am pleasantly surprised by it. Had it for four months, seems very durable and "tough built" so far, aside from a few scratches here and there, presumably a result of friction between the plastic pieces during movement. This feature makes adding or removing the pouch from your belt, whether a regular belt on your pants or a separate tool belt, incredibly easy. It can quickly be popped off and set down nearby when not needed (the kickstand feature is also a cool bonus, however it doesn't really work if you have long tools in the side pockets), then picked up again and re-attached in less than two seconds. Feels very secure and I never worry about it falling off accidentally as this would require both the lock on the pouch being pressed and the pouch itself being lifted upwards at the same time to slide off of the clip, which the back of the pouch sort of hooks onto and then locks into place there. My only real complaint about this is that when wearing on a regular belt, the weight of the entire pouch is distributed only across this relatively small 3" belt clip, which can dig into your hip bone if heavy enough. Not too much of an issue, but definitely sets it apart from other pouches in my opinion. Good amount of space with not too many pockets. Two screwdriver loops, one slightly narrower than the other for whatever reason; An outer pocket with a velcro strap bottom that can be opened--still not sure what this is for exactly, I believe the description says it's for longer tools to hang through, but I can't off the top of my head think of any tools that would "fit" this pocket without also falling straight through; a long tape chain for holding electrical tape; several small loops stitched on the side that I'm also not quite sure the intended purpose of, but handy for hanging random things from with carabiners and such; a small end pocket with a velcro flap enclosure described as a "wire tester pocket" which also has me scratching my head, as "wire tester" could mean any number of things, the majority of which would not fit in this tiny pocket, however it fit would fit a small/compact tool like a pocketknife well (I use it for my Leatherman Surge, fits perfectly); large main compartment can fit a modest combination of bulkier tools; slim inner pocket can be used for a notebook or for thinner items like pens/markers, small screwdrivers, etc. and finally a "pencil holder" type sheath that may also fit a very thin screwdriver. Overall a very well-made tool pouch with a unique clip system that I would definitely recommend to anyone in any kind of electrical field.
