After my vet recommended this for my 10 year old golden retriever I added it to his food daily for the past few months. Marked improvement in his coat and overall attitude. His thinning hair is now growing back. Coat is beautiful. He is happy! Highly recommend.

Excellent product!! I make my own cat food for my senior cat but organ meat is impossible to get wear I live so I add this to the food when I make it. In a six pound batch of boneless chicken thighs I add six scoops of this product along with all the other supplements to make the food closer to actual prey. He loves the taste and it's much healthier for pets with this added to their food.

Oh my gosh guys! I have a 9 year old GSD who I had to have neutered since we got a female puppy that I didn't want to have a litter at 6 mo. After he was neutered, he gained weight, looked years older and lost his desire to play and live basically. I started sprinkling this on his food and I kid you not, within one week he was already acting years younger and after a few more weeks, he is playing like the one year old and is trying to "get together" with her. I can't recommend this glandular support enough! As to the taste, which I see some have rated poorly, I don't know how they know this, but my experience is that when I put it on his food, he eats it with relish and she is even trying to steal it from him. Must taste real good to THEM! Lol!

I didn't see that there was a MALE designation on the bottle. Ugh so it's a wasted purchase. I have a female dog. I guess the glandulars are good most of the brand products have been great.

My male dachshund has Cushings disease. I researched what he should be eating and fresh organic organ meat is hard to find locally. The articles recommended I buy this item, Glandular Supports Healthy Hormone and Organ Function, priced right and about 2 weeks after starting it, he had a thick curly coat. Mind you he is a smooth coat, but now he looks like a Cocker spaniel, lol, he has more pep and is doing much better.

I have used many of the Mercola - now barks and whiskers - pet Products for at least a decade. I have liked them all and my animals have benefitted greatly. While I do understand the benefits of supplementing hormones that are lost in spay and neuter, the experience with my young male dog with this product was not good. His neuter two years ago at nine months of age did cause surprising changes in him (extreme anxiety and loss of confidence), And his Leutinizing Hormone is high due to having insufficient testosterone, but this product alone is not the solution for him! I have always given my dogs Pet G. O. Glandulars or Guts and Glory Glandulars which are excellent Products but do not contain male or female sex hormones. I was excited when this product came out with the addition of the testosterone And I believed it would Help my boy to regain his emotional stability. Instead it continued to make him very ill, no matter how small and amount I gave him. I thought his reaction was perhaps due to the fact that the glandulars he has previously used were bovine and this one is pork. But This cannot be the case because he often eats pork and has no adverse reaction. I must conclude that in my boy's case he requires the assistance of a medical Professional to treat the consequences of his loss of male sex hormones. I called the manufacturer and was told that they have somewhere on their website cautioning that this item is NOT TO BE GIVEN to their pets without the vet first testing to see whether the animal requires a boost of these hormones. It will depend on how high the Leutinizing Hormone Is in their bodies. (This hormone is harmful and often skyrockets for the animals lifetime after spay or neuter, Causing a cascade of health problems down the line including allergies!) Unfortunately we do not benefit from this guidance on Amazon. This is an excellent item for pets who can benefit by it, but it can also cause harm in the short term as well as in the long term without Veterinary guidance and monitoring of the hormones in the pet's body. Please speak with your vet prior to adding sex hormone replacement in your pet's diet. (Note: both Dr. Karen Becker who formulated this product, as well as Dr. Peter Dobias who has done much study on repercussions to our pets caused by spay and neuter can be found on their websites.
