I have had my eye on this intelisteam for some time but when the handle broke on my existing three tier steamer nearly scolding me I decided to go ahead and buy one. A good decision. I live on my own and so I have been testing it out with various foods with portions for one. I have found the recommended steaming times in the instruction book to be very close to my liking but have adjusted them where needed. There is ample room in the compartments for bigger portions to feed my family when they visit so no problems there and cleaning after use is so easy. Everything except the base unit can go in the dishwasher but I hand wash the components in very short time. I found the instruction book to be easy to follow with how to set up and set the times, and there are also a few recipes if you would like to try them. My likes with this machine are. 1 Easy water top up while cooking. 2 All foods finish cooking at the same time. 3 Keep warm facility should you be not ready to serve up. 4 The kitchen does not end up being a sauna. 5 Able to set food timings to suit my own palate. Best appliance I have bought for a long time.

A great product. Perfect for a retired couple. Easy to set up. Excellent for fish, vegetables etc Cooks to perfection. Works well and easy to clean and maintain.

There is to nothing to dislike about this steamer. Bought to replace an old 3 tier stack steamer. The Morphy Richards was expensive so I took a while to consider spending that much but I am so glad I did. A great item you can steam different types of vegetables with individual times for each one and set to finish at the same time. You can also steam fish however I have not tried that yet. Very sturdy and easy to clean and looks good. I would recommend this one.

This Steamer is the best steamer I ever had, so easy to use, easy to clean, specially the veggies add taste so much nicer, no plastic smell or taste, highly recommend this steamer. New year dinner is second time used now, I just notice this steamer able to separate compartment 🤩 wow 🤩 all the housewife should have this steamer at home, so easy to use 👍👍👍👍👍👍

We had the previous model that had plastic baskets. Over time (a long time) these eventually started to crack. Was pleased to see the current model now uses stainless steel baskets and glass lids, so much more robust. I am expecting to get many years use out of this. It is expensive compared to the stacking, cheaper type, but having three different cook zones means that you can set the timere for each zone and leave it. All zones finish cooking at the same time. Strangely, we had never used it for cooking whole meals in the previous model, but watching the product video on Amazon, we thought we would give it a try. A fish meal came out with perfect results, this is how we are cooking certain meals from now on. My only (minor) gripe is the plastice divider in the trivet that creates zone two and three. It has a rubber strip down the edges to seal, but is not quite wide enough to reach the edges of the trivet, so when you put it in, you have to get it to balance until you put the lid on at which point it will stay in place. Only a small gripe, but would prefer it to stay stood in place like the old one did (not the same size, or I would use the older one).

This steamer is super. So many variations you can cook at the same time vegetables, fish and rice. Ideal for families as well as couples.

Having experienced the predecessor of the Morphy Richards Intellisteam with plastic trays, I understand the struggle when they succumb to damage. In my case, I ended up purchasing a whole new unit because the steamer's performance was just that impressiveâ "sometimes you have to bite the bullet. The control and the ability to set separate start times for each compartment were standout features for me. It allowed for a hassle-free cooking experience, preventing the common issue of overcooking certain items. For instance, carrots and swede in the front left for 40 mins, potatoes in the rear for 30, and cauliflower and broccoli in the front right for 12 minsâ "all perfectly coordinated. However, the plastic trays, though efficient, couldn't withstand the test of time and dishwasher encounters. The struggle to find replacement trays was real, and unfortunately, Tefal ceased production of my beloved model. Enter the Morphy Richards 470006 Intellisteam. The shift to metal trays is a game-changer, offering sturdiness that the plastic counterparts lacked. The single dividable front tray is a welcomed improvement, adding versatility to its usage. The glass lids are a nice touch, more durable than the previous plastic ones. This new release retains all the features I loved from the earlier model, making it a vast improvement on an already fantastic product. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the convenience of intelligent cooking and durability in their kitchen appliances.

Excellent steamer, I like the separate sections that allow different types of food to be cooked to be ready all at the same time. Once set it can be left to get on with it while I do something else. It doesn't take up too much space and is easy to clean.
