This is my second one (after 5 years of heavy use). I use this pan almost daily. It's super reliable and consistent Excellent build quality.

That's what she said. No, literally. My wife said that. And, of course, who am I to disagree. I've travelled the world and the seven sea...wait...stay on target. Frying pan review, frying pan review, Frying pan review. OK. It's a great pan. It's great to cook with, like the best - which is why we buy Le Creuset pans. The only thing it's big, heavy and a pain to clean in the sink if you don't like putting these in a dishwasher. Even then, it takes up a lot of room in slimline dishwashers. If you've a regular size dishwasher, I'm sure you'll be fine. In the photo its the one on the end and the next in line is the 28cms crepe pan so, yeah, it's sizeable. So, 5 stars for cooking, 4 stars for easy to clean, and 3 stars for versatility...seeing as its a stir fry pan, and it does a great stir fry. If you want to cook anything else, use another pan :)

Fantasist product, as always from Le Creuset

This will be the 3rd pan ordered the last 2 returned as the top of the pan was deformed not round , and thus if using a lid there would be large gaps on 1 side please can i ask that before the 3rd pan is sent out that it is inspected to ensure it is of the normal quality Yoruba would expect from a premium cost pan

I purchased this Wok 'style' pan to replace our aging anodised Sainsburys pan of the same size and shape. Where the old pan was easier to scratch the La Creuset seems to have greater, though not perfect, resistance to scratching. I've banned any metal utensils from the kitchen so as to not let this one get damaged! The old pan was much lighter and my partner found it easier to lift than the La Creuset but the trade off was a lighter hollow handle with weaker rivets attaching to the body. Due to the surprising weight I've reduced this review by one star, but really it's half a star as they mitigate the extra weight with a helper handle. Heat distribution and readiness to cook are excellent. It doesn't take long at all for the pan to reach correct temperatures on our gas stove and nothing sticks. It is very quick to clean with a normal low-abrasion sponge if needs be. It says you can put it in the dishwasher but honestly there's no need.
