KIDS PREFERRED World of Eric Carle, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Bean Bag Toy, 10 inches

This is a little small, but very well made. My daughter loves this, carries it everywhere. It also feels very durable. Colors are spot on and nice to look it. This is the type of toy that she can give to her daughter one day, its that well made.

This is a small, soft replica of the Very Hungry Caterpillar, excellent for little hands. It’s sturdy, so it holds its shape as if it’s inching along. It’s perfect to add to The Very Hungry Caterpillar book to build a gift set.

This is my son's favorite book, he picks it as his bed time story nightly, I knew he needed a toy to go with his book and blanket. Yes, this caterpillar is somewhat small (it is NOT the caterpillar being held in the picture listed, it is in the background in the white cube) but to be fair it does state in the description the size, so while the picture IS misleading, I wouldn't dock any stars based on size as it was technically advertised correctly. They DO sell larger ones, just so everyone is aware, I chose the smaller one because my kid is the kind who likes to take his toys with him, the bigger one I felt would not have been as friendly in that aspect so I elected for the smaller one and I did prefer the beanie over stuffed because I feel they hold up over time better. The craftmanship is very good. We've had it for a few months and while I thought surely the strings in the top would all come out so far none have (and these kids are NOT easy on their toys) I would absolutely buy again! Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of it at the moment, this was at his birthday party, despite plenty of new toys and things to do he didn't abandon the caterpillar!

The size of this one compared to the little one. This thing is huge! Extremely great quality, and absolutely beautiful. But unfortunately my son likes the little one and never touched the big one. Have to return I don't understand why he wouldn't want the bigger one it's amazing. If your child loves the hungry caterpillar you have to get them one of the Eric Carl caterpillars they are extremely well made, and they will love to carry it around and make it pretend to eat through stuff. I highly recommend as a gift with the book. I have to return because my child won't even hold it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This guy is very cute, but be aware of the dimensions because I may have bought him thinking he was larger. Perfect for my 1 year old to carry around.
