Best universal
I had an older harmony one and this is greatly improved in looks and performance. Best universal remote I've ever used. It loaded my settings from the old remote once I logged it in on my computer. Easy configuration for an old mitsubishi monitor that I can't find any remote for.

Decent tenure
The past 2 or 3 Logitech remotes I've owned were a total nightmare to set up in their computer set up program. This one uses the same program but had no issues at all, so it was a big relief. It's a good Universal remote. Not the best. You know, cheap plastic. A little quirky with use of devices. Buttons are a bit toos mall. But it gets the job done. I feel like makers have given up on making great universal remotes these days. Oh, well

Nice remote, garbage software
This is my first non-cable provider universal remote. The remote itself is pretty nice once it's set up. The touchscreen is nice so you don't have to bumble around looking for buttons since you can customize them. However, the software is absolute garbage. The MyHarmony app freezes up, crashes, and gets stuck in endless loops of having you set up the same thing over and over again. I had to add and unadd my remote dozens of times because it for some unknown reason kept trying to set up the hub that I didn't have. Then when I finally got it to recognize I had just a remote when I tried to sync it wanted to sync the non existent hub first. Customer support basically told me to try again. After about 2 hours of doing the same thing it finally worked. But it works now, and it's pretty snazzy.

Need to test refurb products before shipping them
It was a refurb but it clearly wasn't tested before sent out. The over all condition wasn't good. Lots of scuffs and the remote would not accept programming. I spent hours trying to make it work and never could. When I went to exchange the remote they were out of stock. Did get a full refund but would have preferred getting what I actually laid for.

Why was this discontinued?
I had an old Harmony back years ago - and for the life of me, I can't recall why I got rid of it.Well, I got tired of having several remotes hanging about and decided to get another universal. I went first with the highly-rated Sofabaton - but after hours of fighting with it and it still not working, I returned it and ordered the Ultimate. The setup was largely trouble-free - the syncing was a little glitchy, requiring a few closing and reopenings. But after the setup, it runs everything natively. The swipe up and down for volume is an added bonus I don't remember from the older version I owned. If you can get your hands on a good refurbished model, you won't regret it.

No complains
Works perfect when you know what you want and know how to program it. Renewed remote came if perfect condition. Generally I only use amazon firetv remote , this remote only operates my bluray player with yamaha receiver and TV. Had harmony remote before (harmony one) but screen got damaged and was time for the new one. I didn't want to spend alot of money to only operate my little setup - amazon renewed was s perfect solution

Easy to configure, Easy to use
This is my second Harmony One remote. The reason I bought another? The ease of setup and use. My home entertainment systems consist of many devices. While I may not use all the devices for any one activity, Harmony One allows me to set up 'Activities' consisting of only those devices required for that activity, be it watching cable, a movie, listening to a CD, whatever. All configuration is done online and synchronized with the remote. The remote is easy to handle with a design that fits my hand well. The touch screen interface can be a little slow to respond to touches sometimes, but is clear and easy to read. Instead of replaceable batteries the Harmony has internal rechargeables that get refreshed with the included charging base. It doesn't take up much space and helps reduce end table clutter by getting the remote out of the way. It looks quite nice sitting vertically in the base. This purchase was a refurbished unit since the Harmony One is no longer being manufactured. So far it has been working fine and I see no reason right now that it shouldn't serve me as well as my first Harmony One still in use.

Lucky to get two stars
This remote is horrible. The concept is good but it does not always turn my devices on even when pointed directly at everything. I have it programmed to go to HDMI 1 for my sound bar but many times it will turn on the sound bar but will set the sound bar to TV instead of HDMI 1. I would not recommend this to anyone. The only positive is that it is rechargeable and the battery life is pretty good.
