Bambino Version 2' Stainless Steel Japanese Automatic / Hand-Winding Dress Watch

The Orient Bambino is beautiful and an incredible value. I was looking for a clean, elegant dress watch and this ticks all the boxes for me. Love the blue hands and dome crystal which give it an expensive look. Perfect addition to my collection. I already ordered another Orient watch and can’t wait to receive it next week.

Nice presentation box, the leather band luxury appealing and thick but comfortable. Stitching and quality is definitely there. Face attractive and the gold very eye catching. I've been wearing it and is keeping time. This watch has a very antique but luxury look to it. All the face markings and hands easy to read. The date also easy to read. Fits very well for being a 40mm. I'm usually a 42mm or bigger, but this fits well. Overall, I'm liking this watch and this may not be the only one I get. Btw... I do own Seiko, Movado, Raymond Weil, Omega and Rolex.

Bought this watch quite by accident (we've all been there) and totally did not plan on keeping it. After I tossed it on a different strap I had laying around, it's a keeper. Sure, it's a dress watch but with a simple strap change, it can be dressed down to fit any occasion. It's nice and thin, as it should be unlike a Seiko Presage. Seems to keep good time but it's an automatic...if you want absolute precision you're not buying an automatic. The 21mm lug width is a bit of a bummer but a 22mm soft leather strap can be mushed on to it. In my case, a 20mm canvas one fits just fine without too much of a gap. Just be sure to use the factory spring bars if you're going down a size. All in all, it's a beautiful bargain and I wish I'd added it to my collection sooner.

This is a very nice-looking dress watch. I get occasional comments on it, which doesn't happen with most of my other watches, even much more expensive ones. The price is definitely right, at $255 at the time of this writing. Accuracy is adequate, better than I would expect for the price. The strap isn't exactly luxurious, but it looks pretty good and it fits my relatively large wrist, which is rare out of the box. But, naturally, it isn't perfect. The crown mechanism feels a bit on the flimsy side, and when manually winding (as when I haven't worn it for a while and need to jump start it) feels gritty, for lack of a better word. So far I've had no issues with it, but I don't yet know how durable it will be in the long run.

Solid construction: There is weight to this watch. Not too heavy, just solidly built. It does not feel cheap on your arm, it feels like quality. The strap is a bit stiff fresh out the box, hit it with some leather conditioner, and it softens right up. Accuracy: looks to be running about 8 seconds a day fast, based on syncing up with my computer clock. Internet says 10 seconds a day or less is acceptable. I am good with it. Good looks: I wear this watch at work daily, and often receive compliments on it. I wear my watch and my wedding ring, that's it. This watch sets off any outfit I wear. To be honest, having a nice watch on your arm just feels better than a cheap plastic watch. This is my first Orient brand watch, I will be adding others down the road. I feel like the quality is high enough that I will be passing one down to each of my sons. I am really pleased with the purchase of this watch. I have my eye on the Green Kamasu for my next acquisition!

Bambino clássico, com numerais romanos. Caixa bem acabada e mostrador muito bonito. R$ 1.790, preço melhor do que qualquer outra loja no Brasil. Se os preços continuarem assim, com os demais bambino, vou ter uma coleção interessante. Apesar de não ser o modelo de 38mm, ficou muito bem no pulso.
