As usual Powertec serves up a good product at a reasonable price making this a high-value buy. I've been using their push stick and safety sets for years now with no complaints. I'm accustomed to hobbling together featherboard look-alikes to get through a variety of builds but now I'm up against a large kitchen cabinet/drawer job that is going to require something that will help provide reliable accuracy and repeatability. I was tempted to spend high but decided not to argue with the success I'm having now with Powertec. This featherboard set hasn't disappointed as it has performed well in the test cuts I've done so far and I'm not expecting any surprises. If I had to knock it, I must admit that it's a bit fiddly in the set up especially where the stock is tall but thin (3/4"). It's a bit difficult to keep everything aligned when using the boards in dual mode. I decided that the culprit is the round barrel like spacers. They're too small leaving quite a bit of featherboard cantilevered way out from the spacers' points of contact. I solved it mostly be removing the provided spacers in favor of using the extra set of miter bar slot brackets that came with the set instead. They are the same thickness but longer. Bingo! Much easier to set up and much more stable. Of course if your work piece is wider and the barrel spacers are mid range on the slots, you shouldn't need to go through this. The product build material is stout and will probably out-live me. I especially like the star style locking knobs much more than the batwing style that other brands use. A god-send for those of us with large, bony, arthritic hands. If you're thinking over time you will be needing featherboards in a variety of configurations, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get there with this set. It comes with plenty of knobs and hardware. The T-bolts are beefy at 5/16" with 1/2" wide hats. Those T-bolts work fine in my table saw and router table fences but they won't go into other brands like the Blue or the Gold that you may be using for miter saw station stops or shop made jigs over your fences. Those brands usually sign in around 7/16" in which case be prepared to grind or file them down which won't prevent them from working in the larger tracks. Let's not forget the safety sallies. I don't care what featherboard is used, its employment diminishes the chance of a catastrophic kick-back exponentially and the Powertec version is certainly no exception. To sum up, I'm pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to any DIY'er or enthusiast.

They seem well built. I have only used one for some cuts on my table saw, but they served their purpose. Did their job. I ultimately plan to use them with my router table and band saw and am confident they will serve their purpose.

i was a little worried about these being flimsy, but they seem to be as good as the name-brand feather boards I have on another machine. I got tired of moving them from machine to machine, so decided to try these. No complaints. We'll see how they hold up long-term but so far I think they'll be fine.

One of the things I love best about this is the size. Some tools are too big for my hands, but this is perfect! I'm 64, female and while I plan to make my own push sticks in the future, I needed something NOW. This is wonderful! It has two small magnets that hold it to my table saw when I'm not using it. LOVE that feature.I used it all weekend this past week to cut boards for my french cleat wall system. The clearance between blade and fence was narrow, but this was perfect! I love that it keeps my hand so far away from the blade and that the mouth of the stick grips firmly on the wood.You can't have too many clamps or too many push sticks. I am saving for a GRIPPER, but in the meantime, this is perfect for women, kids, anyone actually, but especially for those with smaller hands!

Safety is Paramount while working with power tools with blades. I had an accident and had seen these advertised on YouTube or used by professional Carpenters. Not necessarily this brand each time but this brand also. The first set I bought were too small for any table saw I ever seen. I kept them and then I purchased these and they work great. I recommend keeping them close to your power tools and easily accessible. After my accident and purchasing the using these feather boards not only does it protect my fingers and hands but also it keeps my mind aware of the need for safety First 100% of the time. They're easy to use but make sure you pay attention to the type and size of slots or tracks on your saw to ensure proper fit.

I bought this featherboard for my Rigid table saw, and it’s been a great addition to my setup. It holds stock firmly against the fence, which gives me more control and cleaner cuts. The build quality is solid, and it was easy to install and adjust.It definitely adds a level of safety and precision to my woodworking projects. If you’re using a Rigid table saw and want better consistency and control, this featherboard is a smart upgrade. Highly recommend!

This is the second one of these that I have had. The first I ran i9nto the saw balde and ruined. Great push sticl. I loike the built in magnets that hold this to the side of my saw.

They were a little larger than I thought they would be at first, but they still fit my table saw and router table. Perfect amount of stiffness and the included mounting hardware works great. Only thing that didn’t fit was the T-track bolts were too big for the fence on my Ryobi router table, but it was easy to replace them with smaller ones.
