Perfect fit 2009 R1200 GSA
The headlight is so much brighter than what originally came with the bike and the fit was perfect. I am mechanically inclined but by no stretch of the imagination am I a mechanic but without instructions I was able to remove the old headlight and install the new one under a half hour. You'll need a torx head screwdriver, T40 if I remember right.One caveat: This is a sealed component not fit for bulb replacement. If one light goes out, or a rock breaks the headlight you must replace the unit.I received mine from China.

High beam is sky high
Low beam works great but using the high beams I’m looking in the trees unfortunately this is useless in my morning commute. Since I can’t adjust the high beam I’m gonna have to resort back to the old headlight.

Fits and works great
I was a bit worried after watching some videos about installing the unit, as some had fitment issues. But, happily, I had no issues installing it in my 2006. Installation was easily, and it is firmly in place as it should.

Overall happy
Light has no adjustment so you can’t direct the light beam up or down and that’s a bummer as I’m short and my bikes suspension is set to the lowest this making the beam shoot up and I can’t adjust like the oem but the light is UBER BRIGHT! And it’s a breeze to install!

the fit
The installation was a breeze and performance is perfect

A good Headlight but.....
This headlight it's a very beautiful piece. Looks very nice on the motorcycle and it's very easy to install. The light it's strong and it's very useful. But.....There's no way to adjust it and when you travel with two side bags or one more person the light really bother the other coming opposite direction. I have to find a solution to modify it in order to adjust it.

Huge improvement to the original OEM headlight assembly. I would highly recommend this upgrade to the older model GS Rather easy install

Simple to change out and the new LED light seems to be very good so far.
