Works great at half the price of a Canon.
We are using a Canon CN-E 70-200mm T4.4 Compact-Servo Cine Zoom Lens (EF Mount) and a Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12K Digital Film Camera for IMAG on live events. This converter works great. It takes the T4.4 up to a T8.7 (as to be expected) but we went from ISO 500 to ISO1000 and that fixed the image to look like we expected.Things to note for this setup:Turn the lens auto iris to off, even when set to T8.7 via software, it was much darker than manually setting it to T8.7 using the ring and your fingers. Other than that it works flawlessly. We don't use AF as we have a servo kit so AF wan never a feature we considered going into this.

It works with my Canon R for the most part :)
It works very well with my R for IQ but it does not report the lens F stop correctly. Used on a Canon R with an EF 70-200 f4 L IS it reports F4 with the lens at F4, on my EF 70-300 L it's the same story. It does report the correct FL. I would return it but no one else makes a decent 1.4 that will work on EF 70-300 L. The focus is good on the R at f8 with the EF 70-300L, makes a good 100-420mm F 5.6- 8 lens for outdoor use.It would be perfect IF it reported the F stop correctly on my EOS R :(I did the IQ test with the 70-300 at 300 without the 1.4X and with the 1.4X at 1.4 times the distance from the traget, I could not tell the difference :)YES I know they dont list the R for compatible body but its the only decent 1.4x that I know about.

Trying to figure out AF not locking..... will update later.
Nikon D3 with a Nikon 80-400mm works. AF locks in on 80mm but the higher zooms it doesn't lock. Keeps searching. The latest firmware is installed. Contacted seller to see if I'm missing something. Also going to talk to the shop I deal with also. Hopping it's not the adapter interfering with it to the point I can't use AF and only on 80mm. That makes it 160mm. I have the 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens and this ones good up to 400. So kinda pointless to spend the extra money on an AF adapter and it not even work properly!!!! Could have gotten a cheaper Manual one to use Manual focus!! Right now I can not recommend this if you have this setup! Will update after talking to the seller and camera shop.

Works with most of my Nikon lens
The auto focus was quick in decent light. The only time I had trouble with the focus was in low light or when there was a lot of things to throw it off, like tree branches. The sharpness was impressive. At this price, I was expecting to lose a lot of detail, and I really didn't see that happen. It actually worked well on many of my Nikon zoom lens. This picture of a rabbit in my backyard was shot with my 200-500mm lens all the way out, equivalent to 700mm. The light wasn't that great and there is decent detail. Very happy with this teleconverter.

Very poor image quality
Ignoring the focusing difficulty, the images were very low quality. Better to use the native resolution / magnification and then crop. Useless.

Amazed by this item
Took some amazing sharp photos with this. I did not think it was possible since I had a previous item by Kenko that did not deliver. That was the less expensive one. This is new and very improved in my opinion. A couple of photos with a Canon SL3 and a 235mm manual lens are the proof.

Didnt Work
This did not work at all with my Canon 6D Mark II and Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS II USM. I turned off AF and IS.I tried switching batteries. I got an "err" message when I pressed the shutter release. I contacted KenKo customer support to find out if I just got a defective unit, but they did not respond to several emails.

Works pretty good.
Works pretty good. Would get 5 stars but the provided caps fit loose and fall off, it works with most of my lenses except my gen 1 Tamron 150-600mm, my biggest complaint is there is play and with a lens attached it can be felt if you twist the lens. Shooting from a lens mounted tripod or monopod sometimes even off hand can cause it to malfunction. Price and pros out weigh the cons and it's well worth the money, just be aware that it's not perfect.
