Q: How does this look on medium blonde hair? I have hennaed dark red right now and want to use this on my roots while I transition back to medium blonde

Apricot Gold is subtle on dark blonde hair, just adding a touch of brightness.

Q: if i apply even a tiny bit to my hair, the product thickens and becomes immoveable. i cannot put a finger through my hair. anyone know why?

It definitely tends to thicken as it cools. Add a little more hot water (or coffee to enhance richer colors) and keep it at a workable consistancy.
