Himalaya Purifying Neem & Turmeric Cleansing Bar Soap, 4.41 oz

I waited about 2 weeks before I wrote a review.. I love the smell it is so pleasant The bar is a good size and it will last you awhile When I used the soap the first day my skin felt so clean. I have been using a facial cleaner and it never got my skin completely clean feeling. This soap does exactly what it says. It gives you a deep cleaning. Like I said I have been using Cerva Ve facial cleanse for a year and it never got my face that clean. I have oil skin and I am in my 40’s so I have been dealing with hormonal acne and a lot of breakouts. My skin is very sensitive and this soap did not irritate my skin at all. I started this week washing my face with this soap first and then doing a double cleanse with my facial cleaner and I notice a huge difference in my skin on the first double cleanse. I notice the texture on my face clearing up and I have not had a breakout at all and my skin glowing.My skin is very clean and does not get oil like it use to. I am so happy to found this soap and I will continue to use it. Fantastic product

Clean not waxy or greasy. Natural fresh scent, leavs body feeling clean without that residue so many soaps have. I have a bar at every sink and shower. Neem is such a beneficial healthy product.. I feel super clean after my shower

Overall, I like this soap, and it feels good on my hands. However, it does have a couple of problems. The worst problem is that it leaves a nasty yellow residue buildup in the sink. It looks like mildew growth, but it's just soap residue you have to scrape off. A lesser issue is that shortly after initial use, the soap bar becomes gritty. This problem goes away as it wears down. The only other potential problem for some would be the almost overpowering scent. It is very strong, but I don't find it unpleasant or irritating, and I am not one to enjoy strong odors. The scent is just on the edge of being intolerable for me. With all this in mind, I wouldn't make it a regular purchase, but it would do in a pinch.

Omg i love this soap!! I’m already seeing & expecting awesome results!! The effectiveness is superb it’s thick and looks like it’ll last close to a month. My skin is remaining baby soft although sometimes certain areas are dry like my face or my legs & back. So I then just apply a light coat of moisturizer after other that does the job. I love the smell! It’s a little strong but tolerable. I really wanted turmeric but after reading up on the neem I had to have it! All natural ingredients you won’t regret this purchase, i bought mines for $2.25 a bar & boy am I lucky it is definitely worth the refreshment value. I’m doing a 3-6 month trial based on the reviews I’ve read. I suffer from various issues that I feel like this particular soap can really help me with. I go thru things annually and seasonal with my skin all my life like Summertime heat rash /breakouts, skin allergies, extremely dry skin & uneven tone you name it! I have various all year around breakouts including acne scars, oily skin, dry skin the whole 9. I’m hoping this soap can really love my skin down I’m only on day 2 using it but I’m loving the results already love the way it lathers. I can’t wait to show you guys my summertime results. I will give a picture update upon my next purchase.! You won’t regret this buy!

Based on initial opening and use of one bar, it's not what I was hoping for. I guess I should have read the reviews more carefully. My main issue is that the variety/flavor I opened was the "Purifying Neem and Turmeric". I was surprised to find, inside the individual box, that the soap was enclosed in a plastic bag/wrap. When I opened it, I realized why. The scent was completely overpowering. It reminds me of the Irish Spring or Coast soap I used a generation ago, that had a scent that would fill the house. Now this soap is the first thing I smell when I enter the bathroom (though there could be worse things to smell when entering a bathroom!). Since I bought the variety pack (4 flavors), we'll see what the other scents are like...eventually. My motivation for trying this soap was noticing in the ingredients that it appeared to be a glycerin soap (am lamenting the affordable availability of Dial glycerin soaps). But, unlike the other glycerin soaps I have used, which have mild scents are and translucent, this it solid (and strongly scented). Unless the other flavors in this variety pack change my mind, I can't honestly recommend this product (due to the scent).

I like that my face does not break out with this it gives a soft silky finish with just enough hydration.

I recently purchased these Himalaya soaps and face washes, and I am beyond impressed with the quality. The Nourishing Cream & Honey soap and Moisturizing Almond soap both feel luxurious on the skin, lather well, and leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. They have a mild, pleasant fragrance that isn’t overwhelming but gives a nice refreshing feel after every use. The face washes are equally impressive. The Neem Face Wash is great for deep cleansing, leaving my skin fresh without making it too dry. The Glow Face Wash has a nice scent and makes my skin feel smooth and radiant after every wash. I also appreciate the natural ingredients used in these products, making them gentle on the skin while providing effective cleansing and nourishment. The packaging was secure, and everything arrived in perfect condition. Overall, if you’re looking for high-quality skincare with natural ingredients, I highly recommend Himalaya products. Love this brand for soap. The turmeric and neem one works wonders for my face. I don’t even need cleansers or anything for keeping my face clear of pimples and hives. The almond one is good as well if you want something more gentle. They do have a scent especially the turmeric one but it’s a good smell. Some reviews mentioned the scent being too strong but I find it not at all strong as my face is very sensitive to scented soap and will breakout but this soap does not do that for ME. Be mindful everyone’s skin is different and this might not be for you but definitely try it first to know! It also had some light exfoliating beads in the bar, it’s great. I did notice now that the company has changed the box design which I’m disappointed in because most of the time when products do this they never work the same anymore because they’ve also probably changed the formula ruining it’s performance. Fingers cross this company left the formula ALONE! Oh also the honey one is gross lol smells like honey lemon halls 😭 Cucumber is okay.
