We bought these rock wall climbing molds to create an indoor rock wall for our son as a Christmas surprise, and they were absolutely perfect!**Pros:**- **High-Quality Materials:** The molds are sturdy and durable, with a grippy texture that feels like real rock.- **Easy to Install:** The set came with all the necessary hardware, and installation was straightforward. The bolts and anchors hold securely to the wall.- **Variety of Shapes:** The different shapes and sizes made it easy to design a fun and challenging layout. There’s enough variety to accommodate all skill levels.- **Great for Kids:** Our son was over the moon! It’s the perfect way to burn off energy indoors and improve strength and coordination.**Cons:**- Could include a few more pieces for larger walls, but additional sets are easy to order.Creating a rock wall with these molds has been one of the best projects we’ve done as a family. It’s not just a toy—it’s an investment in fun, fitness, and creativity. Highly recommend for anyone looking to build a rock wall at home!

Some pros and cons
First off, I have to say I love the price. Buying real climbing holds (not cheap ones like this) costs an arm and a leg. This sort of pack would easily be $400-$600 if it were gym grade.Other pros include:-Bright colors-good variety of hold types-high weight rating-good hardwareCons include:-plastic holds do not have much texture-too many colors, I’d rather have more large groups of colors (6-8 per color) so I can set individual routes with each color-one of my 32 holds broke the first time it was used. I contacted the seller and they’ve shipped me a new hold, great experience!

For kids, not adults
The rocks look great on our treehouse, but unfortunately one of the red rocks came broken in two pieces so we weren’t able to use it. We’ll have to buy another pack to fill in the bare spot on the treehouse. Nice quality - for kids only, rocks will turn if parents try to step on them. Also when installing them some of the smaller rocks need to be used when screwing through the wood because the bigger rocks are too deep for the screw to go through the plastic and wood.

Great quality
These are great quality and there is a good variety. We used them for an indoor playroom and put them on a 3/4 inch thick plywood. My 4 year old does great with them but the smaller holds are a little tricky for her. That will probably improve as she gets bigger. They are easy to install and come with good instructions.

Lots of Options, Inexpensive, Good Quality
I don't understand why other people are reviewing these negatively. I had no issues with these cracking during installation and I used an impact gun to tighten them. The provided bolts are long because they are designed to be "through bolted" for maximum stability. As far as grip, these are not professional rock climbing holds. They are an inexpensive option for a DIY kids playset. There is plenty of grip and you can vary how they mount for easy or harder options.I built a playset for my 3 year old and wanted some rock climbing holds for him to be able to practice climbing safely. These have large enough grip options to allow small climbers to safely practice, and small enough options to create some challenging routes if you want. Of course you can mount them in a variety of ways to change the complexity of the climb from super easy to a little more complex. You could also use them for grip strength practice and mount them anywhere for adult use.
