My new favorite flip flops!
These are super comfortable and barely there on my feet, so it's almost like being barefoot, which is the point of these shoes. A good healthy replacement for traditional flip flops, although these don't technically "flip flop" since they are secured to the feet with the heel strap (as a good shoe should be).My only complaint about these would be that when I fully splay my toes, my little toe does stick out beyond the edge of the shoe sole. I am new to barefoot shoes, so as my feet change and my toes return back to their natural position, this may be an issue, but for right now they are fine.Oh also try sizing down in these. In regular shoes I am a size 8.5-9 (usually 9 if I wanted extra toe space or half sizes are unavailable). I bought a different Xero sandal in a size 8 that fit perfectly, but for this style of shoe I needed a size 7. You don't want too much extra length in these beyond your actual foot length.

The perfect sandal!
Perfect minimalist barefoot sandal. These are so comfortable I almost forgot to take them off the first day to shower! I had Tevas for the longest time but tore those up. To replace them I went with Xero Drop (instead of Earth Runners) because they were available on Amazon and needed them quickly. Very happy with them. If you enjoy being barefoot and getting your feet dirty, these are the sandals for you. The cord style is very comfy and sporty. They don’t get stinky after being in water. So far rocks aren’t a bother. They weigh virtually nothing so you could stick them in your purse for backup on a night out. If you need more of a sole then I’d recommend a pair of Bedrocks or Tevas!

What Jesus would've worn if he'd had Paracord.
First off, these are super comfortable and that's why I gave them 4 stars. I live in warm weather year round and cannot stand wearing shoes. I wear Altra running shoes because I like the wide footbed and light feel of the shoe. Lately my feet are screaming at the end of a walk because of how hot my feet get from wearing socks. I bought these for my daily walks thinking that if runners can use them on trails that they would certainly be great for walking a few miles a day. I hoped that the open design would be cooler than wearing running shoes and socks. I wore them in the house for a few days and around town for errands and loved them. I mean, LOVED them. They feel like wearing nothing at all. The paracord straps are soft and were my favorite part of the whole shoe. The fit is so easy to adjust to your foot. The paracord design is genius. The sole of the sandal is like a *thin* rubber tire. They are well designed but very, very thin. Walking over rocks or any bumpy surface is a little painful and if you hit a rock just right under the middle of your foot it is not the best feeling. I experienced a little pain in my heel and my lower back after wearing these the first day - the same pain I get from wearing cheap flip flops. I persevered and wanted these to work. By day two I felt great in them and was very hopeful about a long walk. The last time I wore sandals for an extended period of time - a Spenco model (pretty decent shoe) - I developed a burn on the bottom of my feet where dirt and sand got in and effectively worked like sandpaper wearing off a thin layer of my skin. I didn't want a repeat of that. I completed a 3 mile walk with no issues for 1.5 miles. Surprisingly there was no dirt or sand that got in, only a small rock that I kicked back out. I noticed that I felt a burning hot sensation on my one heel and the ball of the foot and checked the bottoms of my feet halfway through to make sure there was no wear. Everything looked good but felt bad. By mile 2 I knew I was killing the soles of my feet and when I got home I had gigantic, painful blisters on my heels and the ball of my left foot. The inside of the sandal is textured but not uncomfortable and I assume that the way I walk caused friction that created the blisters. I really wanted to love these but I couldn't use them for walking several miles a day, which is what I wanted them for. I can't imagine how anyone runs in these on trails or the road! Maybe I'll try again in the future once the trauma from my blistered feet wears off. Returned them.**Update. The blisters I got on the bottom of my feet from these were gigantic and really painful. It took a few days to heal from them and I was hobbling around until the blister swelling reduced. It sucked. I returned the sandals in a fit of rage and ordered a bunch of other hiking sandals to try. A pair of Chacos, two pairs of Teva's. None of them worked for me. I own 2 different pairs of Spenco sandals - one with gel cushioning and one without. Both are sturdy and have good arch support but destroy my back after just a few hours of wearing them. Crappy Target flip flops do the same thing. Wearing no shoes at all feels magical and makes me desperate to recreate that feeling with some sort of sandal. After testing a bunch of sandals I ultimately bought these again and decided that I wouldn't use them for brisk walking. It's definitely my gait and walking style that causes friction in certain areas because my running shoes have wear patterns that match my blisters. These sandals work for me because the base of the shoe is just a thin piece of rubber. The Paracord is very soft and adjusts so easily. The strap across the heel is also very soft and not annoying. I wish that I could count on these for longer distances but I'll settle for using them as my every day flip flop replacement. No back pain and no heel pain after use. Obviously barefoot style shoes don't work for everyone but for my body they are the only thing that does.

You won't be sorry, just get them!
My first pair of Xero shoes, and definitely not my last. These shoes exceeded my expectations. I put them on and my feet do happy dances. The fit is perfect, I wear a size 7 and a half and purchased a size 7. I wore these shoes all day, walking ( I don't run any more) and it was pure blissful freedom for my feet. Great on the treadmill and outside in the rough, rocks and uneven ground, and it was heavenly. One of the best investments I ever made, as I will be able to keep my fitness goals much easier with these shoes.

Super cheap and flimsy.
First off I had high expectations for this because what we are paying for the quality is super dull. You can find a flexible pair at dollar tree and spend waaay less than these. I was soo dissapointed how flimsy this quality felt. Another thing to watch out for is you will trip aloooot and this is not recommended for soft surfaces or tile. Its slippery.. This was poorly designed and you have to watch your step because the front end flops around and has no control when you take steps. So you can easily fall.

Excellent sandals
I got rid of every other toe pinching sandal in my closet. The closest thing to being barefoot, and my body (and feet) are very happy! Simple yet stylish and they go with everything I wear!

Disappointed
Was really looking forward to trying these shoes but they did not work for me. Main problem is that my toes hang over the edge. Size is right, used the fit guide and printed out my size and they fit perfectly, but the tong that goes between my toes is up too far on the shoe and causes my foot to slide forward. I can’t stand my toes over the end of the sandal like that.
