Used in physical therapy, now I have my own!
Self-massaging thigh/hip area post surgery was a breeze with this nifty little device! I’d been using a different handheld massager and once my therapist handed one of these babies over to me I knew instantly I’d found the only thing I needed to relieve swollen surgical pain. So simple to use and can massage MANY aching muscles simply and easily. I’m glad I bought this brand, it was the same one I’m familiar with and you can’t beat the quality and durability.

Great relief for back pain and sciatica
This is the one you need. I have been to doctors, physical therapists, had acupuncture, took oral meds, had injections, etc. for long term back pain and sciatica. All worked to some degree but not completely. I still had constant straining sensations and sometimes pain in back and leg. On rolling the stick on the painful area, the pain is lessened and sometimes completely goes away. Fastest and best relief I've received. It is the right size that allows me to reach any part of my body. It is expensive but seems well made and should last. Also, it is a lot cheaper than the therapists I mentioned above. Also, I don't have to leave the house to get a treatment. I can do it myself at the time of pain onset. My PT has similar gadgets but this stick is superior. It is so good that I purchased one for my daughter who lives in a far away city and who has back pain. She called me the day she got it and thanked me profusely. She got results similar to mine the first time she used it. Bottom line- buy it!

The Stick
The Stick was used in my therapy to help me recover from knee surgery. It's a wonderful aid in massaging muscles. It inflicts a lot of pain when used correctly, but in the end, it definitely helps to pull all muscles back together. It helped in my posture and walk. As your muscles strengthens, the pain will start to diminish. Since my therapy is over, I will continue to use the Stick in my daily exercise routine.I've met other patients during my therapy who have purchased similar sticks, but I opted to purchase what the clinic used. It cost a little more, but I have the top of the line Stick. With any type of implant, there will always have to be exercise on the patient's part to keep the implant flexible. My orthopedic surgeon was very pleased that I purchased this item in my continuance to heal from a knee replacement.Great investment!

Great for aching muscles!
My physical therapist used "the stick" on my aching muscles after a tough therapy session, and I knew if I were to continue these exercises at home, I would need to purchase this for myself. The stick is easy to use yourself, and soothes tight, sore muscles after exercising and therapy. It's a must have for me!

Great product
I was first introduced to the Stick by my 2:50-marathoner cousin. He was constantly using it when we'd visit him. Once I started training for my own marathon, I came to see the value in this product.I don't know all the scientific background, but when my muscles ache, I can go over them with the stick for a few minutes and though it does hurt a little at first, ultimately, it's relief that is felt.I primarily use on legs, though it can be used on upper body. One must be a little more creative with hand positions to rub out certain back muscles, but the Stick comes with a handy instruction page with positions shown.

Pain relief!
I was introduced to a device like this during physical therapy. My surgeon sent me to PT for an IT Band issue. Wow, does the workout hurt (but in a good way!). If you have every had IT Band problems (I had to look it up because I had never heard of an "IT Band"), this device will work out the knots and lengthen your Band, making pain manageable (I had bi-lateral knee replacements and cannot alleviate the recurring pain). It also works wonders on neck and back kinks. It is now part of my daily arsenal against old age!

It works
The stick is now my default choice for relief of sciatica pain and muscle tightness. I've been to every kind of medical person, massage therapy works best but I can't afford to get a daily massage, and the results from the stick, especially when time is at a premium, trumps stretching and any exercises.
