Standard Golf Cart LED Light Kit [Easy Install] [Custom Wiring] Plug-n-Drive

We got this kit for a 2003 gas EZGO golf cart. The install was very smooth for the most part. (There was a metal attachment at the back of the golf cart that we decided to attach it to and my husband ruined a good drill bit because it wasn't rated for metal, but that was to be expected.) Because the battery was already 12 volt, we did not have to purchase a voltage reducer. We had driven the golf cart previously at night and found it pretty much useless unless the moon was full. These lights are great! Much less expensive than some of the other kits we looked at, but so effective! The front lights improve your ability to see, of course, but the back lights ensure that you can also BE SEEN, so I feel safer all around. We are really glad we bought this kit!

Complete set for installation included (wire harness, wire ties, switch, and voltage meter). I ended up cutting out the volt meter and added additional 6 feet of 22AWG wire to put the switch on the dash. The original harness seems to only be long enough to put the switch on the panel underneath the seat. You could use the provided harness and get this installed in less than an hour with minimal modifications to your cart. I chose to modify the harness so it took me several hours. My primary concern when I purchased this was the brightness. Happily, I found the brightness is more than adequate to drive the cart at night. The lights are very bright. I recommend these if you want a simple and functional light set. Easy to install and priced right.

I would give it 5 stars but we haven't had it long enough to know how long it holds up for sure. I can say it had all the parts needed to install it and easy to customize the installment if one chooses by drilling through the base straight through where you want to attach it and running wires through. This requires removing the quick plugs that are already on the harness and then reattaching them but it's easy to do. The wire harness was ample in length to dress out the cable neatly and safely and secure all to the cart so it looks great and the light puts out more than enough light to drive around on a dark night. The only other comment is I used my own slightly larger zip ties to secure cable but that is personal preference and it did come with small zip ties in the kit. Others at the campground we were at loved it and I already gave them the order info for their carts too.

We have an old golf cart and wanted to update the lights. This works perfectly, and the instructions were very clear. It still took a couple of hours to install, but that’s because I had to remove all the old, non-working lighting first. Very happy with this and would recommend it to others.

Added these lights to EZGO TXT 48volt golf cart we use to ride our grandkids in the neighborhood. This set was easy to install and came with easy to follow instructions. The main reason we installed these lights was for the added safety, the lights are bright and highly visible at night. Well worth the money.

I installed this kit on my 2008 E-Z-GO. A very simple install and I am not at all a handy person. They look even better then I expected. They light up the road perfectly with a very cool LED light. Wires came with connectors and were already crimped. I would recommend getting some additional 16 gauge wire. Definitely a very good quality product.

Purchased this product for our golf cart. Easy to install and perfect lighting for what we needed. Customer service was able to answer my call way beyond office ours. They had sent 2 tail lights, but they quickly got the head light in the mail. Happy with product and would highly recommend to anyone.

Nice and bright, but... We live in an area with no streetlights and it's pitch black at night. The headlight is bright if you are in another vehicle and driving towards these lights. If you are behind them trying to see the road, the light is so diffused that they only help a little. I actually had to buy and wire in a separate LED spotlight to see the road safely. The tail light can be seen for MILES...it's really bright. So bright that everything in my rearview mirror has a reddish/pink glow to it. I may not be able to see where I am going, but everyone will know when I pass.
