This is a very good little weather radio. I had bought a cheaper one for myself that was the basic. This one has good quality sound if you just want the radio for music or news. The light is unique and bright, having a double beam for pathway and straight in front of you. There are four little lights showing the amount of charge in the battery. It has a good sized solar panel on top, and can also be charged with a cord to your computer if you just want to be sure you are ready before an outage. However, the little crank also charges it up very quickly. I bought this for a gift and the lady was pleased with it, being relieved to have the charger for her phone in outages. SOS signal was a good addition.

Awesome emergency radio with excellent reception and decent speaker.

There are many available products of this type on Amazon, with a wide range of review ratings. This particular one seems to have been a good choice for us. Going over each feature: there are 3 LED bulbs at the front, one round between two rectangular ones, with the round one called "long range" and the others "wide," and you can turn on one, or two, or all three (but the "long range" one is not like a flashlight and is really only for the nearby area); under the small solar panel on top is a nice bright rectangular LED panel "for reading" or general light; the radio picks up the weather channel in the area, but like other weather radios, the sound is not very good (not the radio's fault, I think), plus AM and FM, but the sound quality will not replace your earphones or portable speaker; the lights flash when the emergency siren is activated (great feature); there is a manual power crank (and the miniature solar panel) in case the batteries run out; and multiple power connections (in and out). The lithium batteries are rechargeable and replaceable, and total 4000 mAh. Overall, more than I was looking for when I browsed Amazon for an emergency light for the car, and still for a very good price. Here's hoping that we never need to use it!

This is an amazing device! It does everything it claims to do, and does it well! Charging the device: There is almost no tension in the hand crank, making it effective and easy to use. The solar panel is another method to charge the device, and when you lift it up, it becomes a very strong beacon of light! Awesome feature! This light has an optional sensor that turns it on when it senses movement within a few feet. The rechargeable batteries can be charged in a conventional manner, using a USB cable and a wall outlet. Radio: No static! The weather band works great! FM and AM stations near me come in great. The sound is pretty darn good, considering the size of this powerful unit. It is easy to tune, and the antenna is nicely placed and easy to use. SOS alarm: It is loud and undeniably an alarm the communicates you're in trouble. Power status: There is a power status light that easily seen and understandable. 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%; you can crank to your heart's content! Charging your cell phone: I have a Samsung S9, and the USB cord that comes with the light doesn't fit my phone. I use my own cord; it works fine. The picture in the product description for connection ports is accurate. Overall, I am very happy with this little power house of an emergency light and radio!

1.5 YEAR UPDATE This radio has held up through extreme conditions, everything’s functional and works as intended, I can pick up some stations from 3 states away on a clear day. Only issue is the knobs fell off but I melted some plastic spoons and pressed into the knob hole, it’s stayed like that for over a year and functions well. I’d buy again Picked up this radio while being unsure about its quality. Turns out it's built well, charges (by hand and electricity) perfectly, and picks up excellent. Weather Bands come in crips, even picked up an AM station from 600 miles away. Battery lasts at 100% with radio on for 2 hours straight, plus the speaker is loud enough keeping it on low is the only way it doesn't blast your ears off. The main flashlight is compatible to my streamlight protac, and reading light under solar panel is more than enough to light up your immediate area (around two foot). Haven't had to use the solar charging yet, but the panel feels sturdy unlike most cellphone solar chargers you see. For 30ish bucks it's a steal and something you can rely on. It's comparable to a 60 dollar plus radio. I'm pleased with it.

I bought this 5 years ago and I have used every single day for five years. I also take it with me when traveling. For me the look is cool nice color I like the green 💚 I have never had an issue with it. I would also like to add that it is very durable it has taken quite few falls and not one piece is missing and has not malfunctioned. We recently had a power 🔦 outage and it wasn't charged I cranked it up and it worked perfectly. It also came with 2 batteries. I love this little radio📻 it has good sound & the stations for NOAA come in satisfactory and is also great because it's portable definitely has been a fantastic 😃 small investment 💸 The only thing I say is after 5 years maybe the manufacturer would like to upgrade the adapter 🔌 plugs

I think this item is really good. A great quality radio, plus a torch and it can be charged either by USB or solar panels which are on the top of the item. Its easy to use, durable and good value for money.

Good reception, very neat and although I bought it as a 'safety' net should there be a blackout I often take it into any room in house if I want to listen in peace

Works as advertised and feels great, However, after fully charged, if left as is, the product does not hold the current charge forever and will run down over time. The light is very bright, and the radio works great and the audio quality is supreme.
