Treasure Products Vibra Probe 585 Pinpointer Metal Detector

Let me start off by saying this Pinpointer works very well and is high-quality. Waterproof to 30m. That being said, I also want to note that this is a no frills ‘tip only’ pinpointer. Meaning it will only detect objects right around the yellow tip and not further up the shaft (much like every other Pinpointer out there). No Bluetooth or adjustable sensitivity settings.. Just turn on and go. If you are specifically looking for this style of pulse induction pinpointer, then I would highly recommend it.. because there aren’t many out there like this. I can get most small metal objects and coins to start buzzing at about 1.5 inches away from tip. There is no audio, it’s vibration only. The only minor drawback to this pinpointer in my opinion, is lack of on/off switch.. you must tilt it upside down to turn it on. It automatically turns off after a minute of non-use to save 9v battery life. Nice idea.. but it does get somewhat annoying when you are using it frequently out in the field. I would personally prefer an on/off button and maybe a 5 minute off timer to make it perfect. That’s the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

No depth had too break up the plug to use the pinpointer and find the target. Better pinpointers on the market and for the price I paid was not happy
