Almost gave it 5 stars...
I think its a really cool product and looks awesome with the lights out. My only complaint is that there is no on/off switch for the flashing lights. Instead there is a tiny piece of paper that you have to pull out for it to flash and reinsert for it to stop. It can be slightly challenging to find the little slit to put the paper back in. Meanwhile, it will continue to flash.

Made My Son's Cake Look Special
This was a wonderful addition to our birthday festivities! We purchased a bakery cake, added candles, and topped it off with this Happy Birthday Cake Topper. My son loved it and everyone thought it looked great!

The lights should be visible on both sides.
I liked it, but I thought that the flashing lights would be visible from both sides. So, if the cake is positioned in the middle of the table, only half of the guests will see the lights. Otherwise, no issues.

Very Bright Lights
Better than expected, the dimensions are accurate and lights are VERY BRIGHT! In a busy restaurant we definitely drew attention before even singing happy birthday lol!

Nice but hard on the eyes
It's kind of fun as a novelty but the blinking lights are almost like laser pointers. Don't look directly at them! Kind of hard not to when it's on a cake. I think I'll go with a paper version next time.

Really good cake topper
Really good cake topper. Has an on/off button once you pull the plastic piece out to start it. It is very very bright.
