aim and shoot camera
Nice product. Suitable for Ameture and travellers who dislike the hassles of carrying a full frame camera and lens.. It is a best of the compact cameras that Nikon makes.. Weight is about 1000 grams with battery and SD Card, making light on the shoulder / neck. 83x zoom is adequate at 2000mm. Fairly good for low light photography. Hand and compact appearance, easy to use. I would have liked an additional appeture stop from 6.7 to 8. Still takes great photos. The USP of the camera is zoom. Value for money.

Overall good camera with minor issues.
Camera is good for Bird photography .Picture quality is good.But camera weight is more than expected.Its around 1050gm.Autofocus is good .but some timea misses while bird shooting.Cons: only 16MP resolution pictures. And little more weight.cost is bit high for small sensor camera.Amazon service is good.But no camera bag, Memory card provided.

Autofocus is slow but good. Picture quality slightly better than P900. Not heavy as P1000, but light like P900 or B700. RAW available which is a big bonus. Without doubt the best camera for all purpose especially wildlife and long treks.

First I thought go & buy from shop but Amazon did greate deal as I experience geniality as I got it completely seal product with free kit from dealer who's deliver to me overall nice experience . Turn to camera as it's built for wild photography as I am one of them hence bye it it's give me greater results if you have that much budget go for it

Ultimate Machine ...
I am a wildlife photographer and am using Nikon gears from past 6 years. I have Nikon D500 and also had Nikon Coolpix P900. I sold my P900 and bought Nikon Coolpix P950. Nikon Coolpix P950 has borrowed lot of things from P1000. Like 4K video in 30fps, 1080p in 60fps, And supports Raw format in Images. The EVF is better than P900 and also the Zoom buttom has been smoother compaired to P900. The auto focus si also better when compaire to P900 and the tracking system is lot more better this time. The 4K video quality is awesome. You can view the sample video in my youtube channel " Jakati's Photography Travel & Wildlife. The picture quality is also awesome , even though it has a smaller sensor with 16MP the images are good and sharp. The insane 2000mm zoom is sufficent to view moon's creaters. The camera is very light in weight compare to P1000 and also very handy.

16 Megapuxal require improvement over its predecessessors.
Why not 16 Mega pixals is improved over predecessors though cost incresed very high seems not justified require improment .

no manual or UK charger
Great but heavy camera, its bigger than i expected but trips to the gym will overcome this. I have only had it a few hours but am enjoying it already. No operation or quick start manual, i have similar cameras so not phased by this but dissapointed all the same. I am very disappointed to find the enclosed charger only fits USA socket types. I had paid extra for what I assumed was a UK model.

A very good camera indeed - Nikon Coolpix P950
Over all the Nikon P950 is a really easy to use and to get comfortable using. I like the camera for it’s ease of use and control going totally auto mode or anywhere in between the many options to personalization mode. I bought this camera for a specific reason to take on an African Safari, I feel this camera will be wonderful for taking bird and animal shots from a good distance which is the strong point of the camera, the zoom abilities is unbelievable. Recommend this camera for individuals learning the world of photography.

Eine Kamera für Hobby und mehr!
Für mich eine Super Kamera. Leicht zu bedienen, sehr kompakt und es macht sehr viel Spaß damit zu arbeiten. Ich benutze sie sehr viel in der Natur! Macht eigentlich alles, was ich von ihr verlange. Bin nur ein kleiner Hobbyfotograph. Ist aber auch für Profis zu empfehlen!
