A great product
I really like this product because it meant not relocating my basketball post. You will recover about 90% of your shots - depending on the angle. When tightening the metal bag, beware of the tiny metals at the end. This metal bags houses the water-bags (anchors). I gave them 5 stars because this product really saved me the time, money, and effort of boring a hole in my driveway.

Helps to keep from chasing basketballs
After years of running after basketballs that went behind the backboard this device returns them back to you. Very good for a freestanding pole and backboard. Works fairly well. Periodically you have to get on a ladder and readjust the netting. It is fairly durable but don't let the kids hang on the netting, they can rip the stitching. Also if you have big teenagers that want to dunk the ball they must not crash into net. Mine is already in need of repair but it is not a defect in the net, just big kids crashing into it.

Effective solution for solo basketball practice
Installed in minutes. Flexible, easy to adjust from solo return of free throw / elbow shots to a more recessed position to keep misses from rolling under the hoop (and across the yard, under the trees, down the hill, into the street, etc). Can be removed quickly once it's attached, or gathered off to one side for lay ups. We filled the bags with play sand instead of water for cold weather reliability. Had to let the play sand dry very thoroughly first, by spreading it thinly on a sunny driveway, in order to funnel it into the fairly small openings in the hold-down bags.

Good product design - quality should be better
The Goliath Basketball Return system works well but some of the components should be higher quality. 1. One of the bags to weight it down had a hole in it out of the box so I could not use water and had to go buy a couple bags of sand to fill them with. 2. The attachment for the straps to the top of the rim support was a piece of double sided foam tape. It came off from the straps in the first couple days. I drilled a hole through the straps and the rim support and put a screw in so they don't fall to the sides or come off the front of the rim in the wind.

Broken in three months
Easy to install and it worked for three months. Then the stitching that holds the net ripped and the entire thing came down. I tried to resew it but it did not work so now I have to throw it away. It's frustrating, especially because we only used the net during late summer/early fall months, so it's not like the stitching sat under heavy snow or tough winter conditions. Can't recommend it.
