Great tasting evoo. I take two tablespoons every day. Also great on salads and for dipping.

The oil came a day before its scheduled arrival, which was a happy surprise; but presently, I have 4 other bottles of various other EVO Oils, which are open; so, I have refrained from opening this new one; one which, by the way, is the most money I have ever spent on a liter bottle of oil. The one and only time I had a Ligurian EVO derived entirely from the Taggiasca olive, was a pure and memorable delight, an oil as soft and mellow as butter with a depth of flavor unlike any I had experienced previously. It is this memory that prompted me to "dig deeper into my pockets", "tighten my belt elsewhere", and splurge on this bottle and the reputation of its well-regarded producer. Life, after all, comes but once, and there's no time like the present to indulge in some of its finest offerings. Viva l'Italia! Viva la Taggiasca!
