Great family game
Great game! Strategy and cooperation within the team. Perfect game for our 5yo. The game is entertaining, training critical thinking, you can replay it over and over again and it has nice graphics. Very much recommend it!

Easy to learn. Players work together to a common goal. Game moves quickly.
This game is wonderful. You all play independently but you are all trying to beat the fox, so if your kid is overly competitive this is an alternative sort of game. It is VERY EASY TO LEARN. I don't understand other reviews from bewildered people who've been bewitched by... I don't know what. In fairness however, trying to learn while you're surrounded by anxious kids can be stressful, but it's not that serious. The toddler can play and that was important for a family game that everyone can enjoy without getting bored. Game moves quickly and is over in 10 minutes.

Top 5 in out house
"Outfoxed" is a delightful and easy-to-learn board game thatโs perfect for children. The rules are straightforward, making it accessible for kids, and it encourages collaborative play. Players work together to identify the suspect before the fox reaches the end of the path, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. Both my 6-year-old and 9-year-old equally enjoy playing it, and itโs become a favorite for quick and engaging family game nights. What sets this game apart is its cooperative natureโplayers strategize together to outsmart the fox, which is a refreshing change from the highly competitive games often available. This aspect of teamwork makes it a wonderful addition to any game collection, especially for families looking to promote collaboration and fun.

Perfect for young kids of different ages.
Our family LOVED this game. 9 & 6 year old found it simple enough to be enjoyable, but not too easy where it was a one and done. They want to play over and over. Because the game centers mostly around the roll of the dice, there is no advantage for the older kiddo compared to the younger one. Everyone is really on the same playing field. Plus, all players work together. Not too many pieces. Super fun! Would highly recommend.

Fun for everyone
This game is so much fun for the whole family, which is good because my kids wanted to play it all the time. It's cooperative so everyone is playing on the same side and helping to beat the fox (which also means no tears). The game can sort of be graded up or down so there are ways for younger kids to participate but still keep parents and older children engaged. Solving the mystery is enjoyable and kept me entertained. It's a different game every time. The game goes pretty quickly...maybe 15 minutes. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a rare game that can keep kids of different ages and parents entertained.

Great for all ages!
This is such a cute game. We have a 4 year old and an 8 year old and they love it! It doesnโt take long, so they stay engaged and interested. It teaches them to pay attention to the clues so they can try to figure out which fox is responsible! The adults even enjoyed it. The decoder slider box is a great touch. My four year old loved revealing the clues.

Still luck-based, but with some creative ideas that your kids might love
I bought this after watching several positive YouTube reviews for the game. Our daughter turned five on Christmas Eve and I've been wanting some games that will challenge her mentally instead of giving her a win simply with dice or a spinner. (Seriously, spinner games are the worst!) This game... it kinda tackles that... Kinda. There are still dice, and there's a simple rule that states you have to declare your goal for the dice before you roll - you can't just go with what the dice gives you. This is the luck element, and it is the only thing that will dictate success or failure at the game. Success simply requires enough successful rolls to uncover and reveal the three clues which relate to your randomly-chosen "thief" at the beginning of the game, as well as revealing enough of the suspects until you find the one containing all three clues. You could get lucky and reveal the clues quickly, matching to a suspect revealed early in the game. Or you can have some nail-biters where the clues are revealed but the matching suspect is literally the last one left to flip over. Or you can botch enough rolls and lose. It helps that the game is cooperative, meaning that you don't feel as personally victimized by the luck. However, get a few older people around the table, and you might get someone blaming someone else for not getting enough successful rolls. The skill is simply understanding how to determine which of the suspects is innocent or guilty based on the clues revealed and the results from the clue-finding device (which itself is fun to work with.) To an adult this is a no-brainer, but to a five-year-old it's a bit more complex. The plus side - and the reason I ultimately like the game - is the sheer thrill a child experiences when they connect the dots and nail the thief. A few other notes: the game takes up a decent amount of real estate. The board is rather large, and you're required to lay 16 cards either around the board or otherwise nearby. This is in no way a complaint, but just a head's up - as far as kids games go, this one is rather large. Also, the cards feel a tad thin, and my daughter already bent one just sliding it into the clue-finder piece. The theme and gameplay might work for a young kid, but the cards won't stand up to a lot of abuse. In addition, the game arrived with the cards rubber-banded instead of the usual plastic wrap, meaning many of our cards were "marked" on arrival. The detective hats and fox pieces are a soft plastic that allow a little bending (which is good), and the dice are nicely printed with vibrant colors. All in all the game is a good, if not short-term addition to the collection; kids will find it much more replayable than adults (kids can even play solo if they wanted to), with a fun theme that lightly encourages teamwork, albeit with an inescapable element of luck.

Great Game for Family Time
Outfoxed! has quickly become a family favorite in our household, offering an enthralling blend of cooperative gameplay and mystery-solving that captivates players of all ages. With its whimsical art style and engaging detective work, it's impossible not to be drawn into the quest to unmask the cunning fox behind the theft. The game mechanics are straightforward yet clever, encouraging teamwork and critical thinking without being overly complex, making it accessible for younger players while still entertaining for adults. What truly sets Outfoxed! apart is its ability to foster a sense of accomplishment and unity among players as they collect clues and deduce which suspect is the guilty party. It's rare to find a game that balances educational value with sheer fun so seamlessly. Our game nights have been significantly enriched by this delightful addition. Highly recommend for families seeking a fun, engaging way to spend quality time together.

Great for kids
My kids (ages 6-12) all love to play this together. They get so excited to look at the new clues, and there's real tension when they're deciding what to do next. Plus, it's nice to have a cooperative board game, instead of one where everyone is "versus" each other. Recommended for anyone with kids in the house.

Amazing game
Great co-op game to play with kids. I'd say it's also suitable for 4 year old. Gets played at least once a day.
