There are a ton of these chargers on Amazon and they all look nearly identical except for the number of ports and the label. It makes me wonder if there is one source for these that everybody is reselling and actually they all work exactly the same. That said, I bought this one based on the reviews and have no complaints about it. It charges 5 batteries in a reasonable amount of time (I haven't measured and I don't care that much--I charge them overnight and they are done next time I check).I imagine a real hobby charger would be better but this costs less than 10 dollars and does 5 at once. I doubt this does anything fancy to maintain the condition of the batteries, but so far it doesn't seem to hurt them. And if you ruin your batteries over time, it's only $15-25 for another 4 or 5 batteries anyway.Make sure you have a USB charger for your car or wall because this does not come with one.

This little charger is designed to charge 5 drone batteries at once. It has ports for the 5 batteries to plug in and indicator lights to let you know if a battery is charging. However, the batteries don't fit firmly into the ports. They fall free if the charger is picked up, and any slight bump, such as plugging in the next battery, tends to cause a battery to wiggle loose enough to stop charging. That being said, I did pay less for this product than I have paid for a pint of fine craft beer, so maybe I should have expected less than great performance. I have a second version of this tool from a different manufacture that failed me as well, which I paid a similar low price for. I think I need to just invest in a more costly, better made product, if I can find one.

At first i thought it didn't work. Then after reading some reviews, realized that you have to force them in pretty strong. Once they are in they charge fine, however you need to use some pliers to remove them without breaking the cables. product works but very tight connection makes it difficult to remove without damaging. thanks to elect&small2 for the quick response.UPDATE:After having this for a while, I don't like it. The led display goes crazy once I plug a 3rd battery in and starts switching other lights on or off. I can only manage to keep two batteries charging at a time.I ended up using the single chargers that come with the quads and putting this in my box of random mystery cables.

I was initially unimpressed, but grew to like the product better after some use. The connector on the battery has to be lined up ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY with the port, then pushed in a little far to get it into the charger. I would prefer the connector to stick out a little more, as I have fat fingers and want to stay away from pulling on the wires as much as possible. That being said, I think I've figured it out pretty well. This unit charges fast and reliably, and I've had no problems (aside from my initial frustration when connectors wouldn't line up perfectly). I would like it even better if the connector was a USB Micro or Mini interface, so that I don't have to keep as tight of a watch on this one, and could substitute another cord if I lose/forget mine.

Item arrived much quicker than estimated, well packaged and undamaged. I have now used it for about a month. When I first got it I kind of had to jiggle the connectors to get them in. After some use I do a lot less jiggling. All five ports work and I can charge 1 to 5 batteries as needed. I like the product & would purchase again. I would also buy from this seller again.

I've only used it once so far. Charged the batteries just fine, however, it's difficult to keep the batteries plugged in if moving the charger, like to a lipo guard sleeve. No fault of the designer since it's not proprietary to one manufactured battery. I would purchase again.

Works perfect. Needs a good AC adapter if you are not using a PC. On a computer, works fine even from my tablet and laptop PC. Lights indicate charging. Shuts off when full.

Bought this along with some extra batteries for a Syma X5C that I gave to my brother as a Christmas gift. The charger worked great and I have no complaints.
