Great mouse - Light, feet are smooth, sensor feels great
In terms of pure feeling, this felt amazing to use for the first time after only using wired gaming mice with no bungee. Very light, super smooth movement and shape feels pretty dang nice in your hand. Feels like a step up in quality from the deathadder elite and og deathadder that I had before. I have smaller hands, and compared to the deathadder which is huge, this is significantly smaller and feels way nicer to me in terms of ergonomics. Very naturally usable shape. Battery life lasts a good 3 days until you have to charge it, I forget that I have to do it after that amount of time. Doesn't take that long to fully charge, and still usable when plugged in. The only problems I've had is that rarely my mouse just temporarily stops working for some reason, don't quite know what the issue is. Doesn't happen often. Overall great mouse. Feels fairly premium despite being plastic. I'd wait until it's on sale for less than $100 if you're planning on copping one.

Solid mouse, but battery life can struggle
Upfront, I would just like to say I'm not being compensated in any way for this review, I'm just bored. If you shop as I do, you'll understand why I put that... The mouse is SUPER light - almost feels cheaply made because of it. Despite that, as far as I can tell it's rock solid. I'm a claw grip coming from a Logitech G502 and the weight difference is astounding. I find I'm more accurate because of it, however, I do sometimes miss throwing the weight around on top-down strategy games. Two negatives I have are the lack of an easily accessible DPI switch and the battery life. A couple of notes: - I use this as my primary mouse for this machine but use an MX Master as my daily. - When I game I play a bit of everything but primarily FPS, strategy, and RPG. -This mouse is used roughly 5-10 hours a week depending on my schedule. I am good about turning it on/off prior to use out of habit. Since I switch between FPS, strategy, and RPG rather regularly the lack of an easily accessible DPI switch can be annoying. While it's possible to set custom DPI settings on via Razer Synapse and toggle between them on the mouse itself, the switch to do so is on the underside. Nice from an aesthetic point of view, but I wish it was more easily accessible and located on the top of the mouse, as most are. As for the batter life, let's just say I leave the micro USB on stand-by. It's quite possible I received a lemon, or that I'm spoiled by the fact that I charge my MX Master (that I use ~60 hours a week) 1-2 times a quarter. To be fair, that mouse is *significantly* heavier for it, but I feel like this thing is constantly flashing red at me. Even still, this mouse is solid and I don't regret the purchase, whatsoever. Scooped it up during a sale for ~$80 and, I feel like I've gotten every penny back. A quick tidbit on Razer Synapse: the interface and application as a whole are great. I've previously used Logitech's, Corsair's, and HyperX's counterparts and it is by far the most user-friendly. The RBG on the mouse is also decently subtle and can be customized to fit almost anyone's preference, even if you're

Great ultralight mouse
Its a bit slim, but overall the mouse is very comfortable. Its easy to disable the buttons on the side of the mouse you arent using, unless you wish to learn some tricky pinky and ring-finger maneuvers. The Viper Ultimate is super light, especially given the tech under the hood. That could be good or bad depending on if you like to adjust your mouses weight. I imagine it woud be great for travel. Plugging it in allows for a suite of interesting software. Some better than others. The game optimizer, for instance, made background videos (youtube, netflix, etc.) choppy without any real world gain. There are some neat things you can tweak around with, however, including adding your own macros. The battery life hasnt been an issue. I used it for several days on and off, as I was still getting used to how light it was and finding a good DPI. The on/off as well as the dpi changer are underneath, but I didnt see if that was changeable or not. That is where theres a physical switch to change your DPI. A really solid mouse if you are ok with it being VERY think and VERY light! I did not have a stutter in any of the games I played and the mouse was very snappy at the right DPI.

Competitive mouse for 50/60bucks
There is my late review of the razer viper ultimate. I bought this mouse thinking only on the shape, is "similar" to the gpx but the hump is lower and makes it really confortable to use for medium/large hands. REMINDER: At the date, there are better mouse in the market, but this price (50/60bucks) is really competitive. Some consideration after you buy this on late 2022 or maybe 2023. Sensor: Really good performance, not issue at all. Battery: Dont spect 70 hours of battery with led on, you get almost 50 hours with no led and can assume is almost 30 or 40 hours with led on, if you like rgb, consider buy the mouse with the dock. Clics: After all, this is a good implementation of the switches. Actuation and sound are good, maybe a little bit loudy. On my copy the pre-travel on the side and main buttons are terrible, and there is a little bit of wobble on the main clics. Scroll-wheel: Its ok, really soft steps and a little bit loud for my preference. No wobble, no clic problem. Weight: For a 74g mouse is really balanced, this mouse dont feel like a brick like others with the same weight. Coatting: A little bit slippery but good coatting after all. Final thought: The best of this mouse is actually the price. Gives you a good performance, a really safe shape and a touch of rgb, im assuming the improvements are on the v2 version of this mouse.

I love this mouse
I absolutely love my Razer Viper Ultimate! The lightweight design makes it super comfortable to use for long gaming sessions, and the fastest gaming switches ensure that every click is lightning fast and responsive. The 20K DPI optical sensor is top-notch, providing precise and accurate tracking on even the most demanding games. The Chroma lighting is a nice touch, adding a touch of style to my setup. The 8 programmable buttons are easy to customize and come in handy for all sorts of in-game shortcuts and macros. But the real standout feature for me is the 70 hr battery life. I can go days without having to charge it, and when I do need to charge it, the included charging dock makes it a breeze. Overall, the Razer Viper Ultimate is an excellent gaming mouse that I highly recommend to any gamer looking for a high-performance, reliable, and stylish peripheral. Five stars all the way!

Best mouse I've ever owned. Good for medium/smallish hands
Best mouse I have ever owned. I think I got it for over half off in 2023 and it's still going strong. Never had a more perfect fit for my medium hands. The battery used to last for over 20 hours, but now it only lasts for about 6 hours. Expected degradation. I can't recommend this one enough.

3 years later, still impressed
I’ve been using this mouse for years now, and the performance has been phenomenal. The build quality has been exceptional with no creaks or broken parts, the mouse essentially looks and functions new. The RGB lighting is discrete and when turned off it looks professional. I’d say that this mouse is on the larger side, which is a benefit for me because I have big hands, so it is very comfy. Coming from a Glorious Model O, this was a large upgrade. It has a practically identical form factor but with much higher build quality and better components. One of the only gripes I have with it is that the feet do not glide as well as other mice, which is nice for accuracy but I prefer a smoother feel. Another is that the usb cord required for charging is quite proprietary so if you lose it or go on a trip without it, you may have no way to charge it. The scroll wheel is nice and tactile and the clicks are satisfying and precise feeling. The battery life is very decent especially for how long I’ve been using it. Overall, this mouse has way exceeded my expectations, especially for a relatively old design. The sensor and switches are still more than enough for basically anyone, and I feel that the mouse is plenty light enough for my uses. The build quality is phenomenal and has held up very well. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a versatile, sleek mouse that can be used for productivity and gaming.

The best gaming mouse!
This is simply the best gaming mouse. Much cheaper than the V2, but with most of the features. The battery life is insane (I turned off the RGB). It feels just as responsive as a wired mouse since the sensor and switches are so good, paired with Razer’s excellent wireless tech. It’s ridiculously light and feels great in the hand. Using it with low DPI (400 for me in most games) is great since it’s so light and can be swiped so easily. Flicks are a breeze on this mouse, the PTFE feet are awesome. Best mouse I’ve ever owned.

Lightweight mouse
Very light and responsive. The rechargeable battery is weaker compared to the other brands, requiring frequent charging.

Awesome gaming mouse, medium baterry life
The Razer Viper Ultimate is extremely light, especially when I come from the Razer DeathAdder Elite. The response rate is amazing even though it is wireless, and this mouse would definitely be great for fps games. The ergonomic of it took me a while to get used to (since the DeathAdder Elite is more ergonomic for right-handed people), but it is not bad per se. However, the battery life is a bit short, I have to re-charge every 3 days, would be nice if it lasts 1 week per cycle of charge. But, that is because I missed the deal on the dock included version. The dock included version is definitely worth it for $10 more and if you missed it, you're left with buying a $70 dock or recharging every 3 days, so don't hesitate on it.
