Premier Kites Airplane Spinner - Tri Fokker

My wife bought this for my birthday in August 2018. In less than a year it had begun to fade badly. 2 1/2 year after purchase, it still spins but is now pink instead of red. Very disappointed. At the peak of summer it gets probably 8 hours of sun. the rest of the year it gets much less. I really expected it to last longer. I bought red and black spray paint and am going to try and paint it.

When I went to assemble this, the first time I found the kit missing the three support struts. My message to customer service went unnoticed. Finally, I bought a cheap kite so I would have the fiberglass rod to make the struts. On my second go-round with the assembly, I had to drill through the fuselage support in order to install the stabilizer strut. I, also had to open one end of a strut sleeve to install the strut. I'm happy with how it turned out. I'm not happy with the manufacturer.

my granddaughter loves planes, and this is the second one i have purchased for her. the only thing i dont care for is the pole could have been taller. she is three and the plane is the same height on the pole.

This was a christmas present to a dear friend who is an inveterate gardner. She loves it--- and, since this is a model of tri-plane flown byh the "Red Baron" in the WWI dogfights, I fully intend to get her the "Sopwith Camel" model for her birthday. Then, all she needs is Snoopy, to pilot!

I purchased this as a gift and the recipient loves it! I have one myself, and it has lasted several years. I do recommend protecting it from fading by applying a UV spray if it will be in the sun.

Love my little airplane flying in the breezes in the morning...…..nice little decoration for my front yard...and I know which way the wind is blowing too.
