**Update 11/2/25 After reaching out to the company they are sending me a replacement at no cost! So due to that I am giving them the rating I believe they deserve for taking care of their customers.** I bought this monitor and camera set 6 months ago based on the good reviews. This is a fairly pricy set and today my monitor totally crashed. It just had a software update about a week ago. Now without WiFi it’s totally useless. I am very upset and of course the return window is already over. I recommend this set to all 5 of my sisters in law 3 of which are looking for a good monitor set. I will be telling them not to bother and I hope this review helps others as well. I am really upset about this happening because before this I really loved this setup.

I scoured the market for a baby monitor for my twins. I could not find a monitor with two cameras, wi-Fi capability and good reviews. I finally decided to just go for a wide, angled single camera and saw this had good reviews so we bought it. Honestly, there’s really no downfall to this camera. We have loved it and it has been perfect for us. The clarity is good enough for what we need. It has night vision and you can zoom in on each baby. We love the feature for sound detection. Our babies were very noisy sleeper so we would turn the volume off and just have the sound detection on so that we wouldn’t hear every single noise and we could get a little bit of sleep I love being able to check in if I’m not home or if I don’t have the monitor right in front of me, the app is easy to use. If I had to give it down fall, probably the only thing I don’t like is that the app does not record for longer than a few seconds and you it refreshes after several captures so you can’t go too far back and you can’t save anything .

This is my new #1 baby must have. I purchased the Nanit prior to this product and HATED it. I love the way it mounted to the wall but that was it. It had only an app that you could not keep open in the background to hear noises or anything. All you had to rely on were notifications from the app that the camera “detected noise” or “detected movement”. I’m a heavier sleeper and also keep my ringer off at night so a single notification was not ideal and would not do it. This camera comes with an app AND a monitor. The monitor does take a little while to turn on and I’ve noticed the battery life fluctuates almost but having an app that I can check on baby while I am out but also just carry around the monitor while at home. The monitor lets you change the brightness, volume, plays lullaby’s through the camera, turn of the LCD only, talk, zoom and so much more. This was an absolute game changer and helps me sleep better at night knowing I’ll hear my baby if they move or make a sound.

DO NOT BUY VTECH BABY MONITORS - Here's why: My first VTech monitor (VM901) lasted about 1.5 years before the battery completely failed. The monitor would only work when plugged in, making it essentially useless as a portable monitor. I tried replacing the battery myself but found it was nearly impossible to access and replace. Eventually the monitor stopped working even when plugged in. Of course, this failure happened just after the 1-year warranty expired, leaving me without a functional monitor. Hoping it was just bad luck, I purchased a second VTech monitor (VM901HD) for $129.95. This one completely failed within just one month of purchase. The monitor stopped working entirely, leaving me without any way to monitor my toddler during sleep and naps. After the second monitor failed, I contacted VTech support and went through their troubleshooting process, but nothing worked. They directed me to fill out a warranty replacement form on their website. I submitted the form on Tuesday, May 27th, and their auto-response promised a reply within 1-2 business days. Six days passed with no response. As a parent without a functioning baby monitor for nearly a week, I was dealing with constant anxiety about my child's safety during sleep times. I finally called on Monday, June 2nd to follow up, and only then did they escalate my case. When VTech finally responded, their "solution" was insulting. Instead of replacing my $129.95 VM901HD with the same model, they offered to send me an RM5764HD—a different model that retails for only $119.95. So not only did I lose a week without a monitor, but they wanted to downgrade me to a cheaper model with no compensation for the inconvenience or safety concerns. The pattern here is clear: 1. Poor build quality with non-replaceable batteries that fail quickly 2. Customer service that's slow, unresponsive, and doesn't prioritize safety concerns 3. A replacement policy that downgrades customers to cheaper products My Strong Recommendation: Choose ANY Other Brand. After two failed monitors and terrible customer service, I cannot recommend VTech baby monitors to any parent. Your child's safety is too important to risk on unreliable products backed by a company that doesn't stand behind what they sell. I have attached images of all 3 monitors.

I didn't think I would need to buy a baby monitor since we live in an apartment and can hear our kids easily. However, this became an urgent purchase during sleep training - another thing I didn't expect to do but here I was, after 4 months of sleep regression, in dire need for an improvement. This device was a savior ! The setup is easy, image quality is really good. We typically don't use the motion or sound detection but we've enabled them temporarily to test and they work (but it results in a lot of notifications in the app). This is really a useful accessory to understanding baby sleep habits : it helped us see that no sound coming from the bedroom did not mean baby was asleep. We've also found it useful when traveling to places where the sleeping space is farther and you would not necessarily hear your baby cry. The negative points for us: - the wifi key you can enter is short and our wifi password is very long because it's more secure. That was almost a deal breaker, as wifi connection is required to use the phone features and for better connectivity. We found a solution thankfully, without changing our wifi password because that was a no-go for us. - reaching out to customer service about the above point, was a very disappointing experience: long delay, useless answer - as mentioned by others, battery life of the monitor is somewhat short. Phone app complements it though, if the monitor is charging far from you. - cannot adjust the volume of music and white noise sounds that the camera can make. We typically use Alexa for it but when travelling it's nice to have the sounds without an extra device - however the volume is low. I would recommend this reasonably priced device - and we also got a compatible floor stand holder which allows to position it well in our bedroom. I would not put it on the crib rail even if it's a proposed option.

Great baby cam, this is my third. You can do patrol mode to switch between rooms, or manually switch. The app is also great and it’s free. The app allows you to see movement history so I easily know when my baby woke up from his last nap which helps with his nap schedule & sleepy cues. The box includes two wall mounts which are great too.

So far this has worked great. Straight out of the box, plugged in camera and monitor and they synced automatically. I haven’t installed the app on my phone yet so I speak to that. Also to early to speak of the battery life, but as long as you have both units are plugged in this shouldn’t be a problem. Picture quality is good, the camera is PTZ ( pan, tilt, zoom) and the audio quality is great. I bought this for elderly care so I don’t really care about the music option it has. I hope the app works well on my phone, even without knowing that I’m rating it a five star. This is probably the best baby/elderly monitor out at this time.

I was so excited to try this monitor out as we just moved my son into his own room and needed a monitor and app connection. The reviews were back and forth as they are for all monitors but I had hope in V-tech over other non-familiar company brands and knock offs. I am very disappointed V-tech. Pros: pic quality is good 360 range Mountable App and monitor Cons and main issues for us: You cannot adjust the volume of the motion detection alerts, they are very loud and keep my husband and I up every single night. You can adjust the volume of what you hear from the baby’s room, and the volume of your voice to them, but not the alerts that come through the physical monitor which is a huge issue. You cannot run the app all night long as the phone will shut off with inactivity so this was why we needed the monitor for all night. It is so loud we cannot sleep and goes off when there is no obvious motion in the room. Connectivity, this thing stalls, and disconnects all the time, please note that the whole time it is connecting or trying to, it does this loud beeping you cannot turn down I mentioned above. Very frustrating to hear motion beeps and look for my child to see a connectivity screen. We have business internet in our home as we both work from home and the Kasa Smart camera for $30 had better connection than this. Now we are back to the baby monitor hunt, Vtech- please get it right! Let parents control the volume of alerts while sleeping, have a good picture quality, and get your wifi services and connection issues corrected. You are a large tech company and I am truly disappointed. Parents- Look elsewhere, you’ll thank me later. We really had hope, and gave it a shot. REVIEW ADDITION; I gave the seller and Vtech a shot to resolve my concerns before returning. I received 1 email back over 3 months. That email was automated and did not address a single concern or question I had to keep this monitor. Vtech had the option to turn around a poop product experience and they DID NOT! Will never buy vtech again.

Ainda está em avaliação, pois não comecei a usar ainda, pois minha bebê ainda não nasceu, mas de primeira impressão gostei muito! Tem várias funcionalidades interessantes como músicas, avisa em caso de mudanças de temperaturas, possibilidade de falar, maior ou menor sensibilidade a barulhos e movimentos. Me parece muito boa e funcional. Precisa estar conectada a tomada tanto a câmera quanto o monitor e a vantagem é ser bivolt. Apesar de o conector de tomada ser da Inglaterra facilmente consegui ligar com um adaptador universal. Espero continuar gostando.

Excelente calidad del monitor y la cámara. Resolución e imagen perfecta. Muy recomendado. Se conecta con mucha facilidad a la cámara, no hay problema de conectividad.

Works as expected with one missing feature.. the camera unit always has to be plugged in with charger .. and doesn’t have a battery backup so cannot be placed anywhere.

I should have listened to the other reviews. The camera doesn’t connect to the wifi network and connection to the monitor is shaky. In the first week of use, the monitor lost connection with the camera and we had to restart the camera to get it back working properly. I can’t believe this is an Amazon’s choice product. It’s a great concept but a real peace of junk.

We bought this a year ago for £69. It’s now more than double!! I would not recommend this product even for £69, the picture quality/quality of the screen has completely deteriorated, the sound is okay but the connection to either the monitor or the app is very hit and miss, and only deteriorates over time as the aerial slowly breaks
