Does not disappoint, just try it
I've had good success with this cast iron seasoning. I've stripped and reseasoned two pans and still have a bunch of product left. I'm not sure why other reviewers comment that it's not enough for more than one skillet seasoning. Seasoning is done is micro layers and takes time and reps. The can is smaller than my palm but a little goes a long way. My process is, after the skillet was stripped, use a piece of cotton flour sack towel (thin loose weave cotton broadcloth) to apply the BuzzyWaxx all over and then bake at 300 degrees fahrenheit for 30-60 minutes. I did this several times until I achieved the desired seasoning. I started using the skillet for cooking immediately and have simply heated the skillet (or cleaned it after cooking) and once a week or so reapply a light layer of wax and then heat for 30 mins to keep the seasoning intact. Even acidic foods like a tomato sauce haven't damaged the seasoning and it's only needed a light touch up to keep the black shine and non stick properties in place. Highly recommend for your base seasoning and maintenance for your cast iron. I've tried lard, bacon grease, oils, etc and nothing has been as long lasting and durable as BuzzyWaxx seasoning. Definitely worth the cost and I will buy again when I run out.

Does what it's supposed to.
Good product. A bit pricey for the size of the tin, but it smells nice so I'll probably use it for my wooden knife handles and stick to grapeseed for my cast iron.

Saved My Cast Iron Pan – This Stuff Works!
I thought my cast iron pan was a lost cause after cooking bacon in it—it stuck horribly, and nothing I tried could fix it. I followed several other seasoning methods I found online, but they didn’t work. Then I tried BuzzyWax, followed the directions exactly, and did three rounds in the oven. The difference is night and day! The pan looks great, and even better—it works. I can now cook egg whites without them sticking, which is a true test for me. If you’ve struggled with cast iron seasoning like I did, this product is absolutely worth it. BuzzyWax is the real deal.

It's good, but it's not magic and it does have an appealing smell to it.
I bought BuzzyWaxx to season a pair of carbon steel pans. If you've never done that, there are a good number of videos and tricks to it, but in my trial and error of doing it more than once to achieve a truly smooth result with fully non-stick surfaces, I'd say that you'd likely have to use this multiple times and ensure that you do not rush the process. This one can of BuzzyWaxx would likely season 20 pans or more (probably more). The trick is to use just a little bit, wipe down your pan, get it hot, when it sweats the oil (beads up), wipe it off, and keep up the heat. Open flame or an oven will work best. Don't try to season a pan with this on a glass top stove or your results will not be as consistent. When your pan looks like the picture I attached, it's just a good beginning. Remember - non-stick does not mean you don't have to provide some type of lubricant. I got my pan perfect for frying eggs, always using oil in the pan first (it fills in the micro-cracks in the steel), and then adding what I wanted to actually cook with (I use butter) and then it works great. I did have to repeat the process on one pan when I got in a rush to use it and quite literally gunked up the pan so much I had to use steel wool to clean it. If you do that, you're basically starting over on the seasoning for that pan. Final tip: If you want a PERFECT pan, consider watching some vids on "polishing" the inside (or buying one of the brands that's pre-polished) before you try to season it. Good luck and happy cooking!

Too expensive for what it is, but gave me a nice looking season that hasn't flaked yet
I bought this to season my new De Buyer Carbone Plus. After a wash, I preheated the pan at 350 before applying the Buzzywaxx. I did two successive oven seasons, each upside-down at 1hr x 400 F (yes, I know Buzzywaxx and most guides say to go to 500F for oven seasons, but the instructions for this pan warn not to heat it above 400F for more than 10min - maybe because of its steel handle? Idk). I followed the two oven seasons with ~15 min on a high heat stove burner, which IMO was what really set the seasoning and blackened everything up nicely. Photo shows about 5 min into stovetop season. I did a quick test sauteing a chicken breast and didn't notice any flaking. A lot of people say this is a gimmicky product, but I do think that the beeswax helps the coating "stick" to the inner pan while it's upside down - and there was no dripping like normal when seasoning with oil. However, I had some uneven spots on the pan bottom. The high smoke point of its component oils was nice in theory but not ideal for my particular pan. I think I'll stick to soybean, canola, or grapeseed oil after this runs out.

Good value compared to similar products
Good value, exactly what I need to season my Cast iron & carbon steel pans. Cheaper to buy from Amazon US than it was to buy anywhere out here. Unfortunately was not available on Amazon Australia.

Awesome!
Used this on a few De Buyer carbon steel pans. Admittedly they were the pro version with the stainless steel handles so could go into the oven for seasoning. Rubbed a very small amount onto the pans back and front after removing the beeswax. Wiped them down again with a paper towel. Followed the buzzywax instructions and they came out perfectly! Way easier than using grape seed oil etc. Not the cheapest product for the quantity you get but a little goes a long way and you soon forget the price when you’re looking down at an awesome, well seasoned piece of carbon steel that’s ready to make you loads of delicious food! Highly recommended.
