Urban Union Passport Wallet (Charcoal Black)

The Keysmart Urban Passort holder feels like a quality product I ordered the holder without the Tile reason being tile only lasted 1 year I therefore ordered a tile slim that has a 3 year battery life and is around 2 times the thickness and size of a credit card overall Happy with my purchase as with other products I own from keysmart

I've been considering the Bellroy Travel Wallet for a while, but I thought I would give this wallet a try since, at the time of my writing this review (10 July 2024), the KeySmart Urban Union Passport Wallet is 1/9th the price of the Bellroy ($20.99 vs. $179) with seemingly most of the same features. I have to say that for $21+HST, I am very satisfied with this purchase so far. From what I can tell, this wallet has 95% of the same features as Bellroy's Travel Wallet, but for a fraction of the price. It has a slot that perfectly fits a passport (you slot in your passport's back cover), multiple ID/card slots (two of which are "hidden" within the cash compartment), lots of room for spare cash, a SIM card ejection tool with storage spots for 3 SIM cards, and a mini travel pen. The main differences between this and the Bellroy seem to be that the Bellroy is made from more premium looking/feeling leather, and the Bellroy has a flap to hide a secondary cash compartment. The KeySmart wallet's "Techtuff" leather doesn't really feel like leather to me (maybe it has a thin plastic coating over it or something), but it feels more durable than the thin leather of Bellroy products I own. It feels well made, so the more rugged or "techy" aesthetics of it don't really bother me since I didn't purchase this travel/passport wallet as a fashion statement. The only negative I can really think of is that the mini travel pen fits very snuggly in its little slip pocket in the middle of the wallet, although maybe it'll loosen up a bit with use (but fitting snuggly also means you shouldn't lose it as easily, so you could view that as a positive). I'll be taking it with me on a trip to Japan in a few months, so how it fares in actual daily travel use remains to be seen, but so far I think it will have been a worthwhile purchase.

These are a great product

Bought it as a gift and he loves it. It’s definitely not an every day wallet since it is passport sized, but it’s perfect for travel. 6 card slots and a passport slot make it the perfect travel wallet. The only let down is the “magnetic closure” doesn’t work to keep the wallet closed (I’m not even sure there are magnets in it). Overall, for $20 I’m happy with this wallet.
