Is the x-small actually the small/medium? All the reviews saying they got small/medium were marked as ordering x-small.

Yes! I ordered the extra small and it is in fact a small/medium

What would be a good size for me ? im 5.6" and my waist is 32 medium built

I bought the small/medium for my child who is 5 ft tall. We have to hem a good 6-8 inches on the legs. Around the middle it actually fits well but he has a bit of a belly.

I'm a female who wears women's size L, should I go with the s/m or m/l?

Here are the measurements for the men's flight suit:Small/Medium - Chest 36-38", Waist 28-32", and Inseam 30-31"Medium/Large - Chest 40-44", Waist 34-38" and Inseam 31-32"X-Large - Chest 46-48", Waist 40-42" and Inseam 32-34"There is also a Women's version of the flight suit.Hope this helps.
