DR MILLS DM-7412M Electric Dried Spice and Coffee Grinder

This is such a practical, time saving small kitchen appliance!! I love it, and I use almost everyday. INCREDIBLY EASY TO CLEAN: just disassemble and put cups and lids in the top rack of diswhasher to get them clean and completely free from smells and tastes. Noise level is rather good, and it's extremly easy to use. Excellent idea to get the model with cup for dry + for wet. The wet (4 blades) It's superb for ginger, garlic, onion, turmeric, parsley, and a long list of other ingredients. All pieces are almost identical in size, and tiny. I make perfect pesto sauce with it! that comes totally smooth and creamy. Same as alioli. The dry (2 blades) perfect for whole spices. Nothing like grinding whole black pepper corns for rich flavour, or whole cloves, that are one of the hardest, but comes fabulous and aromatic. Wow! this has made my cooking so much faster, easier and tastier!!!

I bought to grind coffee for Espresso and Coffee drip works fantastic.

Best for grinding dry only. Even slightly soft with more water content does not work. I tried grinding soft coconut pieces and it did not work.

I love this little thing. I’ve made so many things, like powdered sugar, various grains, chopped nuts ……. It’s so fast to use instead of pulling out my blender or processor. The main reason I bought this model is that you can wash the cups separately. My old grinder could not be washed so if you wanted to grind nuts after you ground coffee, the nuts would taste like coffee. I’ve had this over a year now and it’s works perfectly still. Don’t try to overload it, or work it too hard. It’s not a commercial model. Don’t let the cups sit in water.

This is my second blender and both of them stopped working after 4-5 times of use . The problem is with wet jar. The dry jar still works.

Reasonable size, easy to use, easy to clean, excellent grind quality. The two grinding cups are good option. Minor issue- would prefer slightly bigger cups to help with larger quantity of spices for grinding

It is bigger than I thought it would be, even with measurements. It was loud, sounded like a blender on high. And the inner cap is useless, well I guess it does some of the collecting, but it lets out , everywhere, I had to wipe out the inner part of the body, so disappointed, I returned it. Got another that tops it all. Keep looking, unless you like paying more for what you’re not getting. ie, quite, clean.

Me gusta, muele mi café como me gusta. Y puedo usarla para almendras y otras semillas. Muy compacta y fácil de usar. Buena calidad y precio.

The prize is high, performance is not as expected. Getting hot in few seconds, cant get fine powders out of this. So disappointed.

A Few Minor Drawbacks: It’s a bit louder than my previous grinder, though still within expectations for this type of appliance. Not dishwasher safe, so you do have to wash the cup and blade manually — but the stainless steel parts make it easy to clean with minimal effort. Overall, this grinder is a great value and performs consistently well for both spices and coffee. If you want a dependable, everyday grinder without spending a fortune, this is a solid choice!
