Good value for healthy coat
I switched my 100 pound husky-mix to this variety of food and she's been doing really well on it! I've noticed her coat has been really healthy and her dandruff problem has resolved. Her poos are also very good on this mix. I think it is definitely a good choice to try if you're looking for simple ingredients without the intense price tag.

Great for Pups with sensitive tummys!
This dog food has been fantastic for my dog. Since switching, I've noticed improved digestion, healthier skin, and a shinier coat. Good option for dogs with allergies
About a year ago we adopted a 75# Labradoodle with severe allergies. A food elimination test revealed that while restricting his diet does not solve the problem (suggesting external allergens) he does still have some mild food sensitivities. We've scheduled the allergy testing (EXPENSIVE) and meanwhile want to put him on a very simple diet, so I decided to try a combination of this dry food with the canned Blue Basics Duck and Potato just to make the meal a little more enticing. Our dog definitely does not care for any of this food as much as he likes the other kinds of Blue Buffalo we've used previously, but that was expected. Mixing the dry with the canned food definitely is a better combination than dry alone. I really appreciate that they make a food like this just for dogs in this situation. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of his allergies soon! In the meantime, I can feel good about what we're feeding him not contributing to his intense itchiness!

No more eat infections!
Has been great for my 7 year old Doberman. She had horrible ear infections for several months, and I finally figured out it was a chicken allergy, so i switched to this Salmon Basic. It’s been amazing and she’s never had another ear or skin infection. Her coat has always looked shiny thanks to the salmon. And now my 1 year old Min Pin eats this food with her. Vet said she looks great and healthy.
