I used these for a rear bag for a target rifle. They are tough.

My son used this for his scouting trip this summer. He was teaching a leadership class and had to have qualified as boyscout socks. They were approved by the leaders.

These socks do the job. They’re not the best OCP socks I’ve worn, but they’re definitely the quality you pay for. Pretty thick, not very stretchy.

We received 6 pair of socks. They are thinner, so great for summer, maybe more prone to holes, but we just got them, so cannot comment on that. The color is great to match the boy scout uniform. Only they are a bit to high on the leg - mid-calf size. Because they are thinner, they can be rolled down. The top part is ribbed and has elastic throughout the ribbed part. Stay on well, but not for larger lower legs as the diameter of the actual sock is restrictive. 80% cotton, 20% nylon. Overall, for this price, very happy with purchase.

They are not elastic all the way down so they did not stay up well for my kids.

When I got these socks they looked like they would be tight in the foot and loose in the calf. When I wore them they just stretched out and bunched up like crazy. I throw away a pair every time I ware them now because they do not get better with washing. You are better off getting military basic issue socks

Given that "official" scout gear is expensive - this was a great purchase for my teenage Scout who had to wear these everyday for a week. AND you know these boys need to change everyday. Great weight - not too heavy for summer camp and washed up nicely.

Compared to standard army issued socks, they’re not horrid. I absolutely love the way they fit and feel on my feet. I do suggest getting them if you’re using them in a medium work environment. They aren’t by any means a winter sock. However, if you want a decent pair of summer socks these are it.Also don’t double your socks up on ducks.

You need a good, durable sock for work boots. These are light enough to use in summer, but also good in winter boots. Long enough not to get pulled down by loose boot tops
