No more neck strain!
Works well as advertised. I read the reviews that instructed me to twist the stethoscope before placing the diaphragm in the holder. That has worked very well. My advise would be to wear the Holder on the right or left side rather than in the front of your trousers. When you wear it in the front of the trousers, the holder tends to fall out whenever you sit unless you take out the stethoscope. Wearing it on the side lets you sit down with the holder and steth in place without any interruptions. I no longer have a neck strain since I started using this holder and am no longer forgetting the stethoscope in different locations as I used to when I took it off my neck to sit down.

very nice little piece of plastic that keeps my stethoscope of of my neck
I love this thing, I can not stand things around my neck so this removes my stethoscope from around my neck. My only gripe about it is that when running down the hall for any emergent situation the bell of the stethoscope flys out of the holster. The ear pieces are retained in the holster so the stethoscope stays attached to your side. Overall though this is my third one, only because i have either given them away or lost them. I have seen other ones that have either a magnet or a strap that holds the stethoscope in place but not sure how fast those are to take the tool in and out. This one is pretty slick if your constantly taking it in and out, I do it one handed.

Amazing… Most Times
This is a great and inexpensive way to get your stethoscope off your neck. My biggest problem with it is the retention can be seriously lacking and it seems to fail at the most inopportune times. I’ll seat this thing properly, which can take some practice to master one handed, but some days are better than others with retention. You have to find a place where there’s very little movement on your body to minimize this thing getting rocked out of a good seat which makes it flop to the floor… not the most ideal if you’re in the middle of a bloody trauma. Still, it’s a very economical solution to lugging around your stethoscope while minimizing the risk of providing a ligature for your neck because some crazy guy thinks you remind him of his abusive father.

Functional but tough to clip it
This product is very functional and holds my stethoscope nicely. My only issue is that it's difficult to get the clip on the belt or pocket or wherever you choose to hook it. It usually stays clipped unless you have a fairly active period. I appreciate having somewhere to hold my stethoscope, I just wish the clip was a little more user friendly.

Pathetic excuse
Truly the worst purchase I’ve made in terms of function. Get what you pay for. Will not stay clipped to clothing AT ALL. A gentle tug of the way-to-tightly fitted stethoscope will pull the holster from your hip 100% of the time. Zero retention on the clip plus I have to cream and wedge my pediatric stethoscope into this thing. Wore it for one hour in my practice and dropped it in the cash. Spare yourself.

Not really worth it
Hope the stethoscope perfect but does not start on my scrubs. Keeps falling off as if it is unable to stay on the scrubs

Works Perfectly! Here's a video of how I place my stethoscopes in
Does its job and was less than $10! I'm on my emergency medicine rotation and saw all the ER docs and APPs using this thing and thought of trying it out. Don't know why I never bought one of these guys and just stuck my stethoscopes in my jacket, white coat, or on my neck. Having to pull out my stethoscope and jam back into my jacket or white coat takes me a few extra seconds and my stethoscope ends up sliding off or putting too much pressure on my neck. Works with any stethoscope; I tried it with the Littman Cardio IV and Echo. Doesn't come with instructions but I figured out a quick way to place my stethoscope in. Here is a video!

Works well & it’s cheap
Does take a little getting used to, I’ve had it for a month and I still fumble getting it situated. But once it’s in there it’s really secure. It’s nice not having my stethoscope around my neck, especially when working in the ED or psych unit. I’ll probably get a fancier one when I get a real job but for now, it’s great for a student budget
