Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4)

This game is the best of the ys series I love playing rpg games like this

The game itself is great. Nothing I put here would be any different from the other good reviews. If you like JRPGs or like hack and slash games, you'll probably like this game. The only, and I mean ONLY, reason this isn't 5 stars is because the disk came loose in the case and the case is cracked with plastic all over the inside if the case. Since the game came in a condition that could have actually damaged the disk, I can't rate it 5 stars. But, like I said, that's literally the only reason. It's a great game than you should play if you're even slightly interested.

If you like action RPGs then don't skip on this one...

I don't think these games sell to well in the west, but i hope they sell enough for them to keep bringing them over. The graphics are never anything to brag about, always looks a generation behind in that department. But the gameplay, story and content they provide is always a lot of fun for me. I put over 60 hours into this game and still have things to do. If you like the past few games in the series, def. pick this up!

This is a beautiful action role playing game with a great story. I personally liked that I can change how difficult the game is, it is a setting.

Awesome game, but this particular one in the European (Pal) region one. It will play fine an any region PS4 but, any downloadable expansions from other regions will not work. The only reason I bring this up, I didn’t see that listed in the description. If you are selling a game on the Amazon US store from a different region other than US you must list that in the description.

JRPG maravilhoso da Nihom Falcom, com estilo de combate hack n slash e muita exploração. História densa, exploração de mundo semi aberto... Visuais bem bacanas... Recomendo demais.. Mais de 70 horas de conteúdo fácil, com bom fator de replay.

I was apprehensive about it being action based, but got through on normal with no real problems, and I found the action to be a lot of fun and very easy to understand. Very playable for anyone, but I imagine the harder difficulties would be challenging. The story starts slowly, but builds as time goes on and becomes very compelling and interesting. The characters are all top notch, not a vast amount of depth but quite sufficient for a good experience. The main theme is exploration and that is handled brilliantly. One of the greatest strenghs of the game is the gradual intrroduction of new mechanics steadily at just the right time. I loved the story and Dana. Its a gem of a game, no question coming from a veteran JRPG gamer.

Es uno de los mejores juegos de PS4. Historia entretenida, pero en la jugabilidad es donde de verdad brilla.
