Nice Upgrade
Nice improvement over older Tefal Steam Generator. Like the lock allowing you to lift the complete kit in one hand. The larger water container really saves time on the refills. Smart system works well but glad it still allows you to press for steam too if you want. Expensive but we’ll worth it if it lasts 15 years like the last one.

A bit expensive
Bought as a replacement, product build is not as sturdy as previous model. Cord storage not available. Steam cord storage very flimsy and not easy to use. Iron not very stable when standing on ironing board.

Excellent replacement model
Have only used it a couple of times and delighted so far. Purchased to replace my previous Tefal steam generator which had served me well for over 10 years! Only had to iron my jeans and the bed sheets on one side so works for me! So much quieter than previous model as well.

Unhappy customer!
Really unhappy with this product. Have always bought Tefal and. been very happy, but this one is always switching itself off, and spitting out brown sludge on clean clothes during ironing. I descale it every time I have used it; It’s so frustrating!!! Also as previous reviews say, cable etc are not good design for storage.

Best steam iron I have ever used. I’ve tried other brands and this one is the best.
I find this iron easy to use, the automatic setting is fabulous. Excellent tank size. Really sturdy base. The steam pressure is incredible. An all-round brilliant steam iron. I would highly recommend.

Read and understand the instructions
It is used to do the weekly ironing. Had to really read the instructions and try each temperature control.
