I’ve only been using this moisturizer for about 2 weeks, but so far I really like it. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day without feeling greasy or heavy. This is the best, most luxurious lotion I have ever used. And the only lotion that I can even stand to be on my skin. I started Accutane (for acne) last year and was told that my skin would dry out horribly and that I needed to find a good moisturizer to limit the peeling and cracking that I would inevitably experience. Prior to the medicine my skin was oily and very acne prone and every lotion that I had tried either made me feel like I was wearing a latex suit or broke me out horribly. After doing some research I read that this was a great solution and figured I would give it a try. I started it out right away to try to avoid getting dry and was shocked at how well it worked. Even at the beginning when I was still oily this lotion never felt too heavy. Now don't get me wrong-it goes on like frosting and initially feels like a lot-but within minutes it soaks in and leaves your skin feeling like a little kids (not the sticky kind of little kid though-the good clean little kids with undamaged skin). It will last for days too. No need to reapply because it has soaked in to your skin and doesn't just sit on the surface. My skin has never been this soft. And here I am, nearly 9 months in to my Accutane medication regimen and I am not flaking or peeling. In fact, my skin has never looked better or more healthy. My doctors are shocked at how my skin has stayed moisturized because nearly everyone peels. And it doesn't break you out which is obviously something super important. Now, could I be an anomoly? Maybe, but I don't think so. I honestly think this lotion is Just. That. Good! The price isn't bad either!

Ceramides and hyaluronic acid at this price point is honestly ridiculous value. Save your money on the luxury stuff and just get this.

Ten months in and I have barely made a dent in this tub. I am genuinely starting to consider my options — mixing it into smoothies, using it as a cooking fat, applying it to every surface in the house. Something has to be done because at the current rate of consumption this container will outlive me. In all seriousness, the value proposition here is almost absurd. CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is a legitimately great product — dermatologist recommended, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, fragrance free, non-comedogenic, works on face and body, gentle enough for sensitive skin. It does everything a moisturizer should do without irritating your skin or smelling like you bathed in a candle. The 19oz tub is the right call if you actually plan to use moisturizer regularly. A little goes a long way, which is both the best and most frustrating thing about it. Best because you're getting incredible value per ounce. Frustrating because you will be looking at this same tub for the foreseeable future with no end in sight. Great product, generational quantity. Buy it once, pass it down. One star deducted because I now have to figure out what to do with the remaining 18.5 ounces.

I have very dry skin, and around my chin and nose, it flakes and turns red, exposing my inner layer of skin due to severe dryness. I could never seem to hydrate it or get rid of the flakiness. My face, for the first time in my short life, is not dry! It's not buttery smooth, as in your hand won't glide against my face, but it won't feel the flakiness and roughness of my skin—and that's a game changer! I'm genuinely obsessed with randomly rubbing my face to feel the almost barrier of hydration, especially around my nostrils! I cannot explain the level of amazement I felt when I touched my nostril area to feel practically smooth skin. I felt as if it were a miracle. I generally have very good skin and as I age, it has become a dryer on some parts. After I noticed my legs feeling a little dry last year, I got a tub of creave and within a week, it was smooth and moisturised. I was pretty surprised at how fast it worked to make my skin feel healthy again. I am now on to my 3rd or fourth purchase (I dont need to use any other moisturiser as it is hard to top this one) and make sure I have one being shipped to me every time I know I am going to run out in a couple of weeks! I have the whole supply too - face cream (four types), cleanser and body soap.
