Very easy to apply and get great results
I used Fiddes Hard Wax Oil on my oak interior stair railings. They had previously be layered with Varathane which, while a good product, tends to prove a more "plastic" feel than I like. The Fiddes goes on easy and drys quickly. I chose to apply with a small roller, let stand for 5-10 min and then wipe. Two coats over two days left me with a hard finish that feels more like a gun stock ie smooth wood. I'm now looking for more interior items that I can refresh!

Easier than urethane, not sure about durability yet
Went on easy, gives a nice color to the wood and seems like a good protection. We are happy with it here.

excellent - I use on more than wood
Fyi - manufacturer told me the shelf life is indefinite if you can ensure product is stored with zero excess air. Pour extra product in mason jar to top and seal, it will keep for years and years, access to air is what cures product.

Easy to use and to reapply, and looks great
It was s choice between polyurethane and this. The polyurethane gives an unnatural sheen, and this lets the natural wood appearance show. What clinched it for me is the ease to restore the finish compared to varnish.

Expensive, but does a great job
This has pretty good coverage, which helps with the price. I used this on an acacia wood kitchen island top and couldn't be happier - really added a lot of depth and the finish is surprisingly durable for only two coats. I am happy with the purchase and highly recomment.

My go to finish
My go to finish. Easy to apply, durable, and looks great. I think it has a low VoC count (objectively), but still quite stinky (subjectively). Definitely need some ventilation when applying. Also need to be careful when resealing can as it dries out very very easily.

It worked great on my walnut desk! Pretty easy to apply and the smell is not too bad.
