I have three chunky cats who were put on this by vet recommendation and all three seem to be thriving on this food. It's too early to tell about substantial weight loss, but I will check back in a few months. So far over 2 months, the average loss is 1/2 lb. for a cat this can be considerable. All cats love the taste!

Though, to be fair, he has liked all but one kind of cat food, haha. This has been what I have been purchasing for my cat for the last few years, at the recommendation of the vet. While expensive, it has helped meet the goals set out for my cat, it does not smell bad, looks consistent, and has helped with his teeth. Overall, a good, but slightly expensive cat food.
