Does this protect a person against the RFs coming off of cell towers?

Thank you for your question.  The EMF Protection Blanket is designed to shield RF radiation from reaching the body by acting as a barrier between your body and a mobile or handheld device.  The blanket can and will block ambient RF signals in your enviornment, including those RF signals coming off of cell phone towers.  Hope this answers your question.

What is the blanket made out of other than bamboo? how to i protect my head? do i have to cover the head also?
